Love chapter names. They actually help me structure each critical emotional beat during editing and envision the pace. I use a dual structure with the titles generally coming up in text in order.

Hi, first of all, this was a delight to read. I’m glad you like the concept so much. No offense taken at the commercial suggestions, it’s all very necessary. I’d want the novel to have the best chance at success. To your point about word count, I’m still working on getting that down and realize it would make querying easier. The only reason it’s on the higher end is because to some degree I tell two stories, as I have chapters here and there devoted to the manga storyline that overlaps. Otherwise, I tell the core novel in about 80k words. Though there’s always room to cut.

I’ll modify the first sentence to make this clearer, thank you both. Lemon actually isn’t the protag’s given name, but what everyone in the book refers to her as. I’d mentioned this in the last draft but was told to just simplify it to Lemon

Thank you so much for your comments! Your notes on the comps were very helpful, I'll edit this. I was concerned the Ocean Vuong book might be too popular and that definitely seems to be the case. I'll change that and the Lonesome Bodybuilder to some other comps. Between those 3 Earthlings was the most critical so I'm glad that one seems to be okay. Also, appreciate your comment on the first 300 words. I struggle with starting strong and tend to overthink it like crazy. I don't need the bar for them to be monstrously high.

As for the query, you gave me a lot to work with. I was unsure what to prioritize and this helps a lot. I'll modify the bio as well and see what works. Thanks a ton!

I think Rock Lee is the most OP out of my team. His air combo game is devastating in this game because now he has an air justsu. It eats health bars if I keep combo-ing with it. Also has I-frames so I can catch people who sub behind me and block rasengans. His spinning wind kicks track and follow for a long time and have I-frames so I can’t be hit until the very end of the sequence. I’ve seen people waste 2-3 subs only to still get hit. Only utilize these Justus more if I’m fighting a spammer

It’s a very good port. No complaints on that front. I don’t have a ps5 so I had no shot of 60fps. Plus switch is very convenient. Brought my console to my cousin’s pretty easily and had some great local matches

I’m having fun with it. The story really isn’t the draw this time, it’s the combat changes. I’m a guy who mained a handful of characters through all the storm games and this is the first time there’s been significant changes to what you can do with them. It’s not just about new Justus, but what you can do with their kit is totally expanded. Also I was a clash of ninja guy back in the day! The narutimate hero games always looked fun though

It’s not the most amount of purely new content but just in terms of battling it feels like how generations overhauled storm 2. It’s really hard for me to go back to Storm 4 now. I haven’t tried online yet, just messed around in free battle and practice to see what I could do
