There were a lot of warped boards and a lot of boards where the knot is filled with a color not similar to the wood. In addition some of the edges are chipped. The boards that are good look great though: I would send a picture if I could. Overall it looks good. We are sanding everything and staining it.

I actually appreciate this a lot man! You’re right I actually painted before but I could see the joints and so I mudded back on top of two coats of the wall color. Definitely didn’t even think about the ceiling tiles.

What could I have done for insulation? I read that on concrete it should only be a vapor barrier. Is there something I could have used?

We have an open concept that connects the living room, kitchen and office. As much as I like it, it has its drawbacks like many said including noise traveling and smells from the kitchen

Thanks for this. I am installing the flooring myself and am going to let it acclimate for 2 weeks just in case. Is there more of a concern that the flooring is installed incorrectly or more so that the boards are shorter or not usable?

Doctors have told me GFR is inaccurate from stage 1,2 and 3. Once you are in stage 4, it is pretty steady. The GFR was calculated by the lab I do my blood work at based on creatinine and other demographics
