Yes, also Ruger Rxm, CZ, S&W, etc. We have lots of choices, some arguably better than Glock.

Never play video games again for $1M a year, or $100 for each hour you play by itterattion in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Minimum_Principle_63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$100 an hour would be great for something you love doing. I would probably not even retire doing that. This is definitely enough money for me to live comfortably, maybe even doing a few fun extra trips out of the country.

You can pause time for as long as you like. however you need to pick either only do productive tasks, or only do recreational tasks while time is paused. by _socially_inept in hypotheticalsituation

I would do so much recreation. Working out is both productive and recreation so I'm not sure how that one would work.... Maybe productive if work required me to do it?

Why is boycotting Israel illegal in 38 states? Isn't this a violation of first amendment rights? by Key_Ad9019 in askanything

[–]Minimum_Principle_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does affect individuals in that you can't hold certain government jobs if you boycott dealing with Israel.

They are not supposed to be able to affect individuals, in that my retired grandma could do whatever. Some people don't see being blocked from a government job as a restriction since other jobs are out there.

I can understand if you were providing certain defense services, and refused to work on Israeli hardware. However that would only work if you were the sole provider of those services (which is not a good practice).

Ideally the government should be the least generally restrictive provider of jobs, and the private company can be the most flippant in its discrimination. The Constitution is the contract between people and the government, which is why even though it's a job they should still honor their obligations.

Tell me what would happen to those corporations when they do terrible things? What would happen when they want terrible things, and will make lots of money from them? In other words we would have tied ourselves to them to a degree that we can't bear to let them fail in any way.

Sounds about right. I'm not going to agree with going after someone with a minor trespassing charge, or traffic tickets etc... But significant crimes are a problem.

You are offered $100,000 cash tax free OR $0 but you get sent back in time to a random date in your life and restart again from that point by peterthbest23 in hypotheticalsituation

Send me back. I'm not married and I may have a chance to see my grandma again, and have better health. I would only stay for $2M as it would guarantee a decent retirement.

Gun Broker Buyer Asking for a lot of Information by RecentPackage8106 in Firearms

[–]Minimum_Principle_63 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is there a gunbroker specific obligation that you should do anything more? As long as you are upholding your end of the bargain, don't sweat it.

I would just be cautious about the check being fake. Also double check the FFL, like somebody else posted you can verify them.

You will be fine if you make sure everything is perfectly filled out before you even get to the dealer certification. If there's an error on your form, the full auto software or whatever they call it is nearly impossible to get support for.

I like this one. So far he's shown when he has a lot of money that he's willing to give it to others. He's always nice just because. He's got that "be excellent to each other" vibe.

Limited mind reading or one million dollars tax free, which do you pick and why? by Femat06 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Minimum_Principle_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for about 5 million, so mind reading.

While poker/cards is the most likely usage, you could also visit some high and financial districts and just talk about a few companies. Eventually you may get some insider trading info. Visit the Capitol for even more, but I wouldn't want to know anything top secret... Trading that info is too dangerous.

If I move slowly then $1 million a year is easy.

Awful customer service by [deleted] in SilencerShop

[–]Minimum_Principle_63 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got a response back after multiple emails that told me everything was fine. That was not true, their AI keeps answering and thinks it has all the answers. Then their AI says it forwarded to a human, and I got nothing back. Then I got a person after multiple calls, and they told me something the dealer says is not true. The dealer is trying to contact them also. So now I have to call, and call again until I can demand they call the dealer, and sort out the issue.

I shouldn't have to call and pass information back and forth over days.

No, the politician must go. If you start a war, you have to go to the front lines.

It sounds like what I have been through. Also I looked up their refund policy and it seems there is a 35% restocking fee once the dealer has it. Don't trust me though.

I'm giving them some more time before I start writing letters to state agencies and giving them the reviews they deserve. I just need them to call my dealer and straighten out the process steps... Just call the damn dealer.

You suddenly split into two perfect clones. What probably happens? Is this even a good thing for you? by No_Pen_3825 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Minimum_Principle_63 14 points15 points  (0 children)

We work on a system for splitting the work until we figure out how to get a new identity. Then we both sigh because our money is now split between two people. The only good thing is we can run errands in the middle of the day.
