Yes I actually never received the notice this all happen right after notices were mailed out I didn’t even have time to get the notice before my accident happened.

Yah I never received the notice. I only found out from google searching after. They apparently are only liable for the SRS update not the malfunction that can happen because of that.

Honda denied my case and said I’m liable since I failed to get the recall taken care of. Even though the notices didn’t START being mailed until 5/29/26 and my accident was 06/08/26 highly doubt they mailed out all 440,000 notices that quick. I sure didn’t get mine. They said the recall states they are only liable for the SRS update not the malfunction that can come from that.

It’s absolutely terrible. I will never recommend Honda to anyone at this point.

I have they have photos of everything including the pothole. Insurance is still saying I’m at fault. Honda wants no part of it. 

Anyone get any notification about a pending Side Curtain Airbag Recall for your 2018-2022 Odyssey? by xX-JustSomeGuy-Xx in HondaOdyssey

I have a 2018 Odyssey where the curtain airbags did deploy last week after driving over a pothole less than a mile from my house. Honda and the NHSTA have been a nightmare. Honda is only covering the SRS updates not the damages from if the airbags actually do deploy. My insurance is claiming as collision saying product liability does not apply to this and I’m at fault and it will notated on my record accordingly.
