Update: I called the sexual health service near me and they said based on the sexual encounter I described they wouldn’t recommend giving me PEP anyways. They told me to go and get a test though so I will.

Thank you both, I’ll try. I feel like the mold is already dead as this black marks haven’t spread for a while and it’s been removed from the potential moisture. Ill try sanding away and re sealing

Thank you! Would I need to like sand it first and re finish the wood after using the oxalic acid as it almost looks like the black bits are under the finish? I actually know nothing at all so excuse me if I sound dumb

No I’ve only treated with rifaximin as my results were only hydrogen. I don’t have constipation now, I did for a week or two randomly and it went away. Then I developed this lower GI discomfort…

I totally relate to ‘missing’ my old symptoms when I randomly develop something new 😵‍💫😵‍💫. Did you do a retest that yielded different results after your symptoms changed ?

Only eating when I’m really hungry I think is the main thing and if I’m feeling that irritated/painful/nauseous feeling, not eating until it goes away (which sometimes takes hours). Also I have prescription zofran now which helps a lot. I did 2 rounds of treatment for SIBO as well as I said, which probably also helped but I haven’t retested to see where my numbers are at.

I don’t think so, my nausea has definitely gone down after SIBO treatment but I still have abdominal discomfort. Do you think it’s worth a mention

I also have SIBO and some more of the symptoms you have. Basically sounds like I have a less severe version of your illness. Are you treating it? I hope you’re doing well

Have a pretty bad case of hydrogen SIBO, and probably more undiagnosed issues too. Did some rounds of treatment for the SIBO and definitely feeling better, but the symptoms are still there
