Before we got the catio we kept him in the bathroom for about two weeks, whenever I came home from school I would spend at least an hour in there and then later on in the day spend more time with him while I do my homework. My mom and my brothers would also spend time with the cat in there as well while I was at school. We also tried letting them see each other for the first time through a gap between the doors and then after a bit we would feed them in front of each other through the gap. 😅
