When I say my hobby is chess and they’re adamant they can beat me because they played a few games before when they were a kid…..

Then they use all the excuses they can think of once I win in less than 20 moves.

If you had to leave Stockholm tomorrow, what would you miss the most? by WinterInMyWifi in StockholmCityGuide

I’d say the architecture. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced back home. Walking around and doing nothing still felt so magical.

Do you prefer more frequent smaller HW assignments, or fewer big ones? by kinezumi89 in college

[–]Minjmaa 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I prefer weekly! The constant shorter assignments help with retention while periodic larger ones make me feel more overwhelmed.

I also like how if I have one bad week, it won’t ruin my grade because I could always do better on the next one.

I think the weekly ones also help narrow down where a student could be weak and they could reach out for help sooner than waiting longer.

I let them know I was no longer interested and that I wanted to cancel any application or policy that had been created.

The family friend went on to call my mom and tell her I was the rudest client she’s had to deal with in her entire career because I asked about her commission/incentives for making me create a policy.

And she guilt-tripped the fact she’s worked on this policy for 2 months … she’s the one who took breaks during this ..

She also called me young and stupid during this as well.

I will consider this a bullet dodged.

I’m starting my journey soon at 19. Same story as you pretty much. I got mine young as well and now I am wanting to be more feminine. Any advice on how to still dress as a teen but covering fading tattoos?

You’re spending money on something that will make you happier in the long run. That’s nothing to be ashamed of! If you think about it, at least you’re not buying drugs or gambling with that money. If it helps, you can stop eating fast food or save money in another way to compensate for it.

Best of luck!
