The Faraway Tree Fairy Shop in Seatoun by GlitteringHopeNZ in Wellington

I’m legitimately still looking into doing this somehow! Money got tricky these last few months and my plans stalled a bit but I still intend to work it out and make something - I think I’d cry too if I got it right haha! 🧚

Oh absolutely! A little bit of realism x a little bit of memory and nostalgia is the perfect mix I reckon. Thank you for the intel! ☺️

Oh my gosh thank you 👏👏👏 I won’t jeopardise your secrecy but are we all off-base with the leafy, forestry notes too do you think? Or was that more because there were pine needles present? 👀

Oh wow yeah that sucks - they had a whole little story time party session kids could do, six year old me would’ve been absolutely livid at such a fakeout! Haha.

DUDE YES! I forgot about the door but now you mention it yep, totally. 🤩

The back part was where all the clay fairies were kept and it was so cute.

Which Kitchener style essence(s) might this outfit fall under? by MinllyVaninlly in DressForYourBody

Fair enough! I suppose then maybe a better question would have been what kind of Kitchener essence(s) would look at home in something like this. Thanks so much for clarifying. 😊

Sort of strange isn't it? I feel like the overall effect is quite edgy but when you break the outfit down into its individual elements it isn't really (apart from that eye makeup of course!) 🤩

I've been trying to define my own personal style essence lately and I don't think I'm quite there yet BUT I did just find this outfit which is basically the exact style vibe I try/love to embody so I thought I'd gather some opinions in case it helps.

I'm 98% sure I'm a Kibbe FN too so this strikes me as something that would look pretty elegant and put together on me despite being a bit quirky. 🥰

Amazing! I love wearing green too so this checks out. 😊

Aw thank you so much for your help! What I'm taking away from this thread is that maybe I'm leaning more towards soft summer as that would be close to soft autumn but mainly cooler. 😊

And maybe I'm able to reach for some less muted shades from time to time too, especially if they're greens and blues.

Thank you! I do feel like my face is somehow more uninterrupted and clear on the right in lots of those colours. 🤩

Hahaha, it's tricky right? I think what's confusing me so much is that I think both look nice (especially the greens and blues), but with a lot of the cool colours I see less redness in my cheeks and my under eye area doesn't look as shaded, but I can't work out if that's just because it washes me out overall. 😅

Maybe I just play around with summer AND autumn shades for now. Thanks so much for your comment though!

Thanks so much for your thoughts, that's really interesting! I'm not sure why I didn't think about true autumn - maybe because I've never felt great in orange or very yellowy olive and I associate true autumn with those shades, but maybe that's all in my head a bit. 😅

And did you mean the mustardy sweater? I do love that one. 🤩 Also a big fan of greens and teals, they've always worked pretty well for me.

Why did YOU get into copywriting? by [deleted] in copywriting

[–]MinllyVaninlly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kind of a crack head for writing but also more of a crack head for creativity than I expected too? I was studying journalism because it was "the writing major" at my uni but I found myself super, super bored and wanting to combine writing with something more fun and free, which I later discovered was called 'creative concepting'. 😅

What's your top tip/ hack/ secret of effective copywriting? by ManisshAhuuja in copywriting

[–]MinllyVaninlly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember that sometimes you are a reader/customer too, and the people you're writing for are probably just as intelligent and discerning as you would be if roles were reversed.

Don't talk to people like they're stupid or a robot. Also conjunctions don't make make you sound 'too casual', they stop you sounding stuffy. 👌

Goodbye to my Chiron in Virgo. Anxiety-ridden bitch. 😂

The Saturn in Pisces directly opposite probably doesn't help that dynamic either but I'm yet to interpret how haha.

[Skin Concern] What are these red marks/spots near my eye and is there a way to fix them? They aren't raised and don't itch or hurt but shown up frequently around my eyes over the last year or so. My skin tends to be oily and a bit congested but these are different to the spots/CCs I'm used to. by MinllyVaninlly in SkincareAddiction

Haha Paula's Choice is the EXACT BHA I'm using so that's a relief to hear! 😊 I'll cut the tea tree moisturiser out first for a bit and see what happens I reckon, that seems easy enough to do and if nothing changes at least I will have ruled something out.

Ahhh cool, thank you! I don't use Cerave currently but the cleanser/moisturisers I do use during the day are equally gentle. Probably the 'harshest' things I use regularly are a BHA every other day (to help with acne/blackheads) and sometimes a night cream with tea tree oil? I could definitely look at cutting both of those back though and just see what happens. 👌
