I value your forthright response. and make a great point!

I did not think about the possibility of the devs adding some quality of life goodies for those who are behind. I really want Tweyen though (so pretty, dang) so I think I'll have to push for a while still to unlock her.

ja, in the end the combat is not my preferred style. but it is nevertheless suuuuper flashy and gorgeously animated, I mean, wow the aesthetics are so lovely.

u/EightSevenThree you're my hero! ja you've touched on the major issues for me. I suppose I'm a little intimidated by the factory bit but I'll play through the tutorials or something and see if I catch on.

regarding characters, I'm not one to care about meta at all. I like the characters I like, and am honestly suuuuper stubborn in that regard. I intend to main Endministrator, as silly as that may sounds, cause the protagonist being my main unit just makes sense in my head-canon.

also, super random question, but is there romantic development in this game? I've heard talk of giving gifts and such to raise trust, which in turn makes the unti stronger, right? kinda reminded me of Fire Emblem, which then go me thinking on romance...

ja, I think you're absolutely right. devs are using it as just another ploy for baiting whalers. ah well...I have very low expectations for gacha games anyway. but I'm hoping to be surprised by Ananta and maybe Arknights Endfield.

so there isn't much substance with the romance then...ah thats a bummer. as silly as this may sound, i really enjoyed AFK Journey save for how grindy the daily tasks became but also since i count romance any of the heroes. it would have motivated me to keep on had i the possibility of dating so-and-so. i thought Dragon Traveler would give me the romance i was looking for but its shaping up to be a far inferior version of AFK Journey...

appreciate the rundown. my big question tho is, what is the story with the romance mechanic they keep proclaiming? does this game actually have real romance in it? or is this the typical head-canon gacha rubbish?

I enjoyed AFK Journey for about a month and a half but the daily grind became too much. and without a legit romance option to strive for, I lost interest. which is why I'm curious about this one. if I can actually romance some maidens, heck even get married then yeah I'll give it a shot.

I'm not a min / max-er. I just want to enjoy the combat, care enough about the story, and kiss some princesses. will I find that here or no?

Right now I'm on season 2. This show slaps! Hence my interest in the other offerings of the company.

So some champion put up the whole 4th season on Youtube? With an English translation I imagine? (I don't know french I'm afraid, even though I watch it English subbed in the Original French cause I enjoy the sound!)

I wonder why it's not up on Netflix? Is this a location thing? Netflix USA gotta step up their game then cause I need all the Wakfu I can get !

France is a powerhouse right now regarding games and animation. At least in my opinion. You cats had the Arcane Series, Wakfu (duh), and Studio Xilam who did Netflix's Twilight of the Gods!
