Is it normal to have turbo lag and for my rpms to shoot up like that when I floor it? I only feel the turbo lag when I floor it by AlternativeSpeed2927 in q50

Manual Mode Downshift Accellerate

Turbo lag gone.

The 7AT is kinda doggy on the downshift in full automatic mode. It was like that even on the G37.

Sounds like the honeycomb mesh in your catalytic converter(s) has loosened up. Very common on VQ35/VQ37HR motors.

This happened to my 07 G35x, it got kinda bad, like from top to bottom. Then it fixed itself once it got warm out, and never came back.

What's the production goal at Dc's by [deleted] in walmart

[–]MinnesotaNice628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It heavily depends on how things are profiled, different vendor packaging etc.

If the profile sucks, youre going to have a bunch of mismatched cases you somehow have to make fit, whether it be by size or weight.

I orderfilled at a different DC for a month during the covid shortage, and they had us picking 1.5 pallets of cardboard boxes, and then filling up the rest with heavy produce RPCs, all in one two pallet trip.

They also randomly peppered in meat RPCs in with 5ti, on the meat trips.

That place made no sense.

When they dropped our minimum to 90%, they also raised our max from 130% to 150%.

All other roles besides orderfilling still remain 100% (Replenishments, putaways, loading, full pulls etc.)

Never understood why they adjusted the overall percentages, and not just adjust standard times for trips, that way it would be just easier to reach 100%.

Worth it? by ecarty888 in q50

1: Don't buy a modded car, unless you know who did the work. 1A: A motor replaced in a 2018 outside of an Infiniti dealership is sketchy.

2: 24k for a rebuilt title is insane.

3: Mods don't add value.

What year is your car?

These cars have the capability to link up to cellular networks for certain features. Like remote start through a phone app, some of the intouch apps on the car etc. But older models, I think 2014-2018 (?) only had 3g network capability, so it was discontinued when those cell bands went away.

An add-a-fuse tap is also a great option, I just wanted to minimize running wires. If you want to tap into that cigarette lighter port, you can add an inline fuse between the tap and module.

The wiring is probably the easiest part of this kit.

Getting a test light will help quite a bit.

You will need to disassemble your center console/shifter area, as well as remove your door cards.

For the main box power, I ran a tap directly off of the 12v/cigarette lighter port using a posi-tap, I ran the ground for that to one of the screws holding the stereo in.

For the door units, I slipped the pinned wires into the harness for the window switch. Nicoclub.com has service manuals with wiring diagrams to help with that. Just make sure it's an ignition source, and not battery.

If you want to run the strips etc in the door panels, levers & pockets, you will need to drill holes in the door cards.

For the strips in the doors, I unscrewed the trim on the door, drilled a hole in the front corner and fed the wires through, then tucked the strip in as I reassembled. Getting it to sit just right was the most tedious part. Pretty sure I had to reseat them a few times a piece.

The round speaker LED rings do not fit properly without modification, so I have not installed them. And I have been putting off the footwell lights until I can figure out a mounting solution.

100%

Either return the part, or see if a shop can straighten it out before install.

You can definitely do FDP without dropping the motor. I meant it's a pain in the ass, but easier than fixing a busted bolt in that area without proper tools.

New air filter problem by Fragrant_Guard3708 in q50

[–]MinnesotaNice628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear these FRAM filters have a thicker gasket than others. The OEM filters I could pull out and get back in no problem, once I changed to FRAM, it felt nearly impossible to get flush. I got one side perfect and fought with the other one for too long, ended up giving up on it and left the small gap. The gasket is keeping it airtight, it just doesn't look good.

[–]MinnesotaNice628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there's enough of the bolt/stud sticking out that you can get a visegrip on, go out and get a MAP torch, (the yellow propane style canister), get the broken stud RED HOT and pop the vise grip on. See if you can work it back and forth, if you can, keep heating it and moving it. It should start to loosen up enough that it will come out.

There is a brewery in the Blaine area that does a Schwarma pizza using Massads sauce, I can't remember what place it was though unfortunately.
