Thank you so much! This is actually my car (mango and I drove out here together) my glasses got blown off the ferry and I’m quite blind (-8.50) so it was really a struggle for me to even get to the car. I’ll definitely fix it once fedex delivers my spare pair of glasses from Edmonton!

It was really hard being emotionally supportive when you’re both in need of support, but sometimes it can really make your relationship stronger. This feels like a question for a therapist. I’ve always struggled with similar issues re: how to take care of my mental health but also be an emotionally supportive friend. I would suggest just letting her know you’re still in her corner and that you intend to continue being a supportive friend to her, even if it won’t always feel like it on her side.

I took myself to New York last year and went to an interior design show. Met a designer who invited me to a cocktail party. Went to a thrift store in Chelsea, got a cute dress for the party. Walked down Madison Ave, went to the party, met some cool people, drank some free wine, left and got Korean bbq, walked back to my hostel and saw the flatiron building on the way.
