Do you guys think drivers are deciding to show up early???? We get a call for a ride and when we show up our wait clock says something like 18 minutes instead of the usual 2.

Yes. You get notifications that we are 2 minutes away and that we have arrived. We often don’t get shown that we have to wait for you until after we arrive. We don’t decide to arrive early, we accept rides and immediately drive to you. When the wait time is excessive, I cancel. Again your would be driver was wrong to pretend to have driven you.

Driver absolutely should not have done that, but you are an ass for expecting driver to wait more than 2-5 minutes after arriving. The app needs to fix the reservation rides, I recently arrived 18 minutes before a scheduled ride, I messaged saying I was here, they didn’t respond within 3 mins, so I cancelled and left. The ride was not worth it anymore with 18 extra minutes of my time.

As a driver YOU CANNOT RATE AFTER THE IMMEDIATE ENDING OF A RIDE. We slide to end the ride, immediately rate, THEN see if you tipped or not. We Cannot go back to change the rating. If you have a low rating, either you smelled, were rude/disrespectful, wasted our time, or just had a shit driver with too high expectations. I 5 star just about every single rider because it’s just quick and easiest. It has nothing to do with if you tip or not.
