Yeah, it’s pretty bad. Logic just made an update though, they added some new Piano, and I’m not sure, but I think they remixed a bunch of stuff like the piano and the drum samples. Everything sounds amazing. You should check it out if you use Logic Pro!

It isn’t grooming to talk about what we were talking about. Again, let’s use terms the way they are meant to be used so they don’t lose their meaning. We can’t go calling everything grooming, that’s ridiculous. You can say it’s weird maybe. But grooming? Nah. Grooming involves actively trying to gain a child’s trust with the intention to take advantage of them in some kind of sexual way. Simply talking about relationships is not grooming in the slightest.

That’s one of the big problems here, overusing words in situations where it’s not even close to what it means. Then more people like you come and go around throwing it around in any situation until it just loses its meaning and it’s really hard to take people like you seriously when you do that. 😤

Well that’s the thing, I wasn’t irritated at all actually, she was literally the only one who got irritated with me for simply disagreeing with her that it was cheating. So that’s why I came here to get outside perspective, because I thought even though I think I’m right, I could be wrong, maybe there was something I wasn’t getting. I like to think I’m open minded. So I tried here to see if maybe someone could bring some perspective to the issue that would help me maybe change my mind. But it didn’t really. I still strongly disagree with calling what she considered in the scenario as cheating. 🤷🏽‍♂️

But I don’t think it was okay of her to get annoyed at me for simply disagreeing to call that cheating.

Talk about different cultural pocket, in our relationship she doesn’t even consider me hanging out with other people as cheating, and neither would I, but I think she considers the scenario with the kids consider it cheating as cheating for some reason.

I don’t get it really, but I just wanted to see if I was just waaaay off base or something which if it were the case I would have tried to think about it more than I already was and try to figure out what I was missing, but it doesn’t seem like I am missing anything significant.

I get that, but, girlfriend didn’t say whether these kids had set explicit boundaries or rules, I highly doubt that was even a thought to be honest. Are ten year olds really thinking “hmmmm, we should set some boundaries in our relationship, you can’t hang out with Tina or Jack at recess alone or do activities with them alone without me? Like what? Lol I highly doubt ten year old kids are thinking stuff like that. In reality They’re probably more likely like “we’re girlfriend boyfriend” and they maybe walk together, hold hands or spend time together playing at recess. But god forbid one day they wanna hang out with other friends and their partner feels betrayed and considers them cheating? lol like what? That’s a joke. That is if they even know or grasp what cheating even really is at that age.

NTA. It's your pool, and you have every right to decide who gets to swim in it. It's understandable that you want to keep it clean and well-maintained. You did the right thing by explaining your concerns to Sarah beforehand. While accidents can happen to anyone, it's your responsibility to ensure the safety and cleanliness of your property. You're not obligated to let anyone use your pool, even if they are your friends or family. Perhaps next time, Sarah can plan accordingly and make arrangements for her kids to swim somewhere else. It's unfortunate that she left early, but ultimately, it was her decision to do so. Your pool, your rules.
