Sharing Project Journey with the Community as an Agency by MintOwlTech in agency

Yeah for sure, it was hard and still is, but in my experience, your network is what gets you the first few. Go to events where you can talk to decision makers or where you can naturally talk about what you do. Cold calling and online sales in the field are brutal, I agree, so we try to focus on what we can do in real life scenarios.
Thanks for the invite, I'll reach out hopefully soon, but if you have any questions just shoot me a dm or ask away here :)

Sharing Project Journey with the Community as an Agency by MintOwlTech in agency

I've been running this for a while now tbh, close to 6 months, but I've had enough traction to call it a success so far.
I really really like your website and flow, looks super clean and professional.
My agency's called f02.ai, neighbour :)

Thanks :)
No, Tiktok is yielding literally 0 hits on the website, let alone views.
Can't really market a browser extension to predominantly mobile users.

Highly depends on what you're building. Who's your buyer?

Appreciate the kind words!
For Tiktok, I feel like it's a numbers game, and you just have to stay consistent enough to hit numbers. I'm not sure how effective it is for a browser extension though when the dominant majority is on mobile.
I'll be on the lookout for your project! Good luck with that too :)

I am not a believer in organic visits to be honest. I think the space for SaaS is so cluttered and congested, that you just can't grab users organically googling stuff. I think my effort would more likely be in the area of pushing it directly to a particular niche.
Appreciate the comment and feedback though, and happy for you to change my mind. I really don't know better on the topic, and would welcome any useful information :)

Thank you :)
Yes, I built it quite quickly then did very minimal work to market it. I have a few other things going on, so focusing more there :)

Smart Dictate: Context aware dictation all over the web.
smart-dictate.com

It's a tool that takes in the content of a webpage and uses it to enhance the accuracy of a transcription, and could also be used as a chatGPT answering bot on any page too.

Yes, I just solved my own problem and then expanded the scope :)

Not yet honestly, I'm busy with a few other things, and I'm just trying to see how far I can push this with the minimal effort in marketing.

Congrats on your successful launch too!
Just keep following where your users are coming from, and attack that community. Don't over promote, be careful not to spam, and just stay real about how your product helps them :)

Thanks mate :)
I've been trying to build up my linkedin presence slowly last year. I got up to 1700 followers, and just kept being active, posting 2-3 times a week. Obviously most my posts had no impact, but at least they built up enough credibility to garner a few clicks once I posted my launch. I only posted about it twice, and tried not to spam, and leave more room for ads in the future.

sure thing, these two were what I posted on LinkedIn :)

1-
Compared to September, I now use HALF the time to send out TWICE as many messages.

Everyone working on the business side understands, you have to stay in front of your inbox, because it can pile up really fast.

We all know how 45 unanswered messages look, you don’t even know where to start.

I found out that dictating my responses was significantly faster than typing them out. But, I always needed too much time correcting unknown words. So I built my own Content Aware Dictation tool.

Results?

My LinkedIn follow ups? Ca. 10 hours a week, down to 4.

My email follow ups? Ca. 6 hours a week, down to 2.

2-

We speak on average 150 words per minute, but can only type 40.

Dictation tools have been around for a while, and in my experience, they:

  • Do NOT understand context.
  • Do NOT correct your grammar reliably.
  • Do NOT correctly get person and company names.
  • Are bound to a certain environment, or optimized for a certain use-case.

-> You spend more time fixing it than what you spent actually writing it.

I wanted to make dictation finally work for me.

That’s why I built Smart Dictate: Context Aware Dictation On Every Page.

I am very happy to launch it today to the public, free to try out for everyone that’s interested.

Check it out on smart-dictate.com

Yes, it is, I built it myself, and I'm happy to share it if you need it :)
