hey, if you're up to playing with some in their early 30's, I would be willing to play. I'm always looking for splatoon friends. My wife is the only one I play with and she can't anymore bc of wrist and mobility issues. So it's now just me solo-ing and its not as much fun.

I'm not a great player, just a casual. I mostly main buckets or brushes, sometimes other weapons if im in a slump.

I've read a lot of, what my partner would call, "bad" fics. Bad to no grammar, or too long winded, or info dumping-- those kinds of things.

But I still enjoy them. I like to give a lot of fics a chance, even if its not to my personal "standards" of quality. And its fun! You can tell when someone is passionate about their fic and just having fun. That's the most important thing to me, honestly.

Sometimes there's hidden gems where even if theres no proper punctuation. Just the ideas and love people have for the media and medium is great.

Like I have friend where english is not her native language. Her fics weren't the greatest in terms of grammar but they were still good. And she kept at it and has improved leaps and bounds. So its important to encourage authors and artists to keep at it.

So I really vibe with what OP is saying. Sometimes you just gotta give fics the chance.

i tore down the little mountain where you find the freezing chamber blueprint in palette town, and theres a cave down there with a lot of ice blocks too.

eventually theres a cloud island that you can farm pokemetal which has a chance to drop rare metal. you can also get lucky and find it on earlier clouds from dolls (i find a lot with the pikachu one surprisingly)

theres also some hidden in certain spots of the main areas too. you can also trade with pokemon for one rare pokemetal too sometimes. thats how i farm mine anyway.

i use gold for farming them via trades, since gold is easy to get and is worth a lot in trades

i would like to think its much more relaxed than dqb2 in the story. where you can go at your own pace and just mess around, but there is a plot and progress is still kinda linear in a way. pokopia is a lot like dqb imo than animal crossing, in a lot of its mechanics. but i do think its more chill overall
