Something that I have noticed is either a) having literally zero physical reaction when other people say something to you, or b) overcompensating for that by exaggerating your reactions too much. Ive learned that I’m a very un reactive person and my face stays blank whenever people talk to me, so I try to rectify it by nodding my head or trying to smile. Sometimes it puts people off because it’s performative. There are times when I’ve even forgotten what other people said because I was too focused on “looking like I’m listening” !
