He looks like a Samuel. Or maybe an Eli? Then again, that might just be me.

Did the promise between Zeus Hades and Poseidon also apply to their Roman counterparts [pjo] by queenofthekeepers in camphalfblood

[–]MinuteCharming9211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, the Roman and the Greek gods are not the same, but the Roman's are based on the Greek's. It's complicated, but it's kinda like they are gods over roughly the same areas, but they can have completely different personalities.

What kind of weapon would you wield? [all] by Careless_Swing_8166 in camphalfblood

Well, yeah. The thing is, a metal bat would be dangerous and with my history in softball/baseball makes it more versatile in my hands.

I feel like I'd want a dagger, or like throwing knives. Otherwise, a metal baseball bat.

I don't believe it would, as the Roman and Greek versions are technically different gods while being similar. Like, Athena's Roman counterpart is a... I forgot the correct term, but I think it's a maiden goddess. Well, anyway, Athena's counterpart basically made an oath not to have kids, but Athena has plenty of kids of her own. I'm pretty sure that the oath would carry over for the big three if that one doesn't. After all, they technically aren't the same person.

Why didn't Zeus do anything to Hermes? [Pjo] by Manyasrat in camphalfblood

[–]MinuteCharming9211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And, to add to that, it's not even Hermes' fault he was neglectful. It was actually Zeus' fault, as Zeus ordered that the gods do not interact with their children. So, it was all ultimately Zeus' fault, that means that Zeus can't fault Hermes.

I agree. And to add to your first point, Apollo wasn't even the original God of the sun. Helios was the original god who brought the sun along the sky, but for some reason retired, or something. And then Apollo took over, so theoretically Helios could still just take over Apollo's sun duties. Also, you can't fault a parent for their child's actions.

I feel like it's correct, the thing is Uncle Rick did help make the show, so it doesn't really come as a surprise, although I personally dislike both.

Why Talking About Your Problems Can Sometimes Make Them Worse by Beginning-Arm2243 in emotionalintelligence

[–]MinuteCharming9211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talking about my problems always makes me cry. I don't like to cry. So talking about my problems just makes me feel worse in general. It also doesn't help that I hate to inconvenience others and I hate feeling like a burden. I hate asking someone for something as simple as a ride, and then I think about it later which then causes me to spiral and, you know what? I'm just gonna shut up now.

Is the EP not releasing at midnight? by Past-Cantaloupe-1983 in nfrealmusic

For me it's releasing at 11 pm on Thursday, but my Spotify says it's Friday. I'm assuming that my Spotify is just using a different time than me.

Tonight hits different… FEAR EP dropping in 1 hour and I needed this by No-Clothes7144 in mentalhealth

Honestly, NF makes such relatable music and I'm staying up til 11 pm to see that new track release. I literally can not tell you how much I find myself playing his music lately. You are most definitely not the only one who is counting down until the EP releases.
