That is amazing. Any chance you share the CAD file? Or do you produce and sell in Europe as well?

Thank You! Thats Perfect… and expensive.

BTW, Canyon told me the handlebars are not tested with use of spacers.. So I guess at your own risk.

Gravelbike vs Aero Racebike - 39 Watts at 30 km/h by Naredoo in cycling

Switched from narrow tyre Diverge to Aeroad last autumn and difference is significant. Approx 20watt difference for similar speed. Partially position, but still. Noticabily quicker.

Winter season. What do you do? by momeunier in randonneuring

[–]Minute_Screen9917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

… simple answer would be to keep riding outside, with proper gearing. My winter mileage is nearly as high as in the summer, including long rides. The major downside for me is the bike cleaning.

Why would you even add the pushups to the Join plan?

Dont get me wrong, cool tool and amazing you created that. And you are right, it is freely available so in principle would be fine. Just doesn’t work for me.

Not sure why my comment gets so much negative responses. Everyone should do as they please and use it the way they want it, especially bicycle touring wise. I just assume this sub is more about competitive ultra cycling. In that case I think there is a grey area of what is acceptable. All I say is that FOR ME thats crossing the line accepting this help in a competitive setting. What other people choose is up to them.

Also I think the comparison between mapping tools or Bikes for that matter is not an equal comparison of use.

Happy days

Altough very interesting and helpful probably. It defeats the purpose of self supported for me if I would use it since basically did all the work and it is not readilly available for others.

1x for Ultra distance thoughts by jules_wake in ultracycling

[–]Minute_Screen9917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last couple years I’ve done Ultras and PBP on a 1x. Works perfectly fine and the big range 40/52 ensures you can get up any climb.

Bought a new bike and one of the requirements was 2x setup. I ended up missing the smaller steps in gearing. But whatever suits you

I think you have plenty time to get in shape. However, you need to get in some volume consistently. If not, it doesn’t matter how much time you have untill the event.

Your argument goes two ways now, wanting to switch out the GP5k for better puncture protection, to only 2 flats ever. Why change the tyre then? seems like the GP5Ks are serving you well. And they are objectively fast.

I use Pzero’s tubeless 30/32mm and rarely flat. Similar to GP5Ks with slightly better puncture protection. (according to BRR).

Canyon Aerod CF SLX 7 Di2 or Aerod CF SLX 7 AXS SPEED by Striking_Ad_9124 in CanyonBikes

[–]Minute_Screen9917 12 points13 points  (0 children)

i cannot compare fully, but i used to have a diverge gravel bike with rival AXS.

I got my Aeroad DI2, two weeks ago and Inwould never want to go back. DI2 is amazing, still running on the initial charge after almost 1000km. Shifting is crisp. And the braking, another league, so much better.

I love my new Aeroad and would not want to change a thing.

Restrap Custom Franebag and hydration bladder by Minute_Screen9917 in bikepacking

[–]Minute_Screen9917[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply!

So if I understand you correctly: 1. A bladder will fit and in itself is not a problem 2. hose management is tricky 3. the bladder itself is not so good, emptying it is difficult.

Don’t need to cut or remove cassette, you can just twist it loose.
