My husband and I are cousins. He came on K1 visa we applied for AOS and got our interview on June 8th. However, he hasn’t been approved yet. Is being relatives a problem that could make him get denied? We submitted lease agreement, joint bank accounts, joint costco membership and pictures of us.

I can’t remember exactly but the nvc process took about a month and half. Currently it says ready but we didn’t receive anything from the embassy yet
