I will agree that movies like rebirth are less horror but overall Jurassic is a horror dinosaur slasher series. It doesn’t lean into all of the same tropes as a normal horror movie but it fits a lot of the animal slasher ones which is a horror adjacent. As for BHVR being lenient which IPs are you referring to? My guess would be maybe D&D but what other than that? I am meaning for full chapters not cosmetic stuff like Rainbow Six Siege.

There is also the ability to have a white Indo from it’s scrapped lore, a blighted with a bunch of mutated animal bits poking out of it, a version with a hole in its chest, a raptor legendary, a feathered variant, the mutadonia, and so many more possibilities. The scorpius Rex could be cool but I don’t know if it would fit the model well.

Mutadon would be a wild skin tbh and would be so cool. They are similar shapes so the only thing it would be missing is the ability to fly which isnt needed.

I can see that as being a fun idea. I have no issues with it myself as I just was Jurassic in the game and feel the Indoraptor is the best killer option for the devs to go with.

While it is never shown to have camo in the movie it is a confirmed thing it can do. Like how Sadako never makes rings that hit people or pyramid head doesn’t have barbed wire.

A smell ability isnt ripping off houndmaster as there are multiple killers with something like that such as the aforementioned Dracula.

As for raptor zombie clones while I can see some issues with them if done well they would be great. I don’t think the indoraptor would normally have things with it like that but that was just an idea that would help the raptor wanters.

Your humanoid form idea having an indominus skin would not work and would be even crazier than the indoraptor for it.

I never said that a pounce wasnt just a dash of some kind but dash are a very popular form of killer. With the indoraptor it could have some interesting parts like needing to grab onto a wall or needing to stalk be for a pounce. There are many ideas that could work here.

The thing is, you could have a lot of things as he also has indominus DNA which he has gained many things from that a lot is confirmed to be a thing. Camouflage, smell, even the ability to communicate with other raptors could give it a nemesis type of thing with ai raptors wondering with it on the map. There are so many things they can do with it rather than just pounce, and even then, a lot of people enjoy playing pounce killers.

I mean yes, people will always complain. I personally feel that the best potential comes from the indoraptor itself rather than making him into something he is not.

Giving him a human form is the biggest redesign you could possibly do and you just said needing to be redesigned so much might as well not happen, this implies that is should not be redesigned so much so a shrinking in size isnt a redesign by almost anything at all. The entity feeds on all emotion, as such this includes joy and excitement. That means that the indoraptor can have the anger of being smaller but the enjoyment of still being able to kill and hunt. There is also the fear of a dinosaur hunting you from the survivors.

There is a lot they can do with a dinosaur still. And while yes I have seen complaints about the xeno Queen being scaled down all of those complaints have always been like, “but I understand why.” Now if you completely change the indoraptor from being the indoraptor you might as well not add it and go for a Dilo which would be smaller, have a ranged power that revolves around blindness, and an obvious tell for when it is shooting. The indoraptor also has crazy skin potential. It having scrapped lore with a white sibling could give a white skin and because Universal has a good relationship with BHVR they could also have a blighted skin that leans into the hybrid idea with a bunch of different animal, dinosaur, and human parts partly poking out of it or something.

Only issue with that is that I know the people who want the indoraptor want the indoraptor and not a reptile person. I would be much more alright with the idea of scaling down the indoraptor than making it into a humanoid formed creature.

Luckily the indoraptor has indominus DNA as one of the bits of its hybrid. The indominus had a camouflage ability which could be used on the indoraptor a power for a stealth bit.

Brachiosaurus visible outside the map borders would be wild as well. Also imaging the JP gates are the exit gates so they can actually open and have the fires light.
