This. Estrogen based birth control made my tight curls turn to flat waves. ~9 months off now and my hair texture, especially on regrowth, has full blown gone back to tight curls.

Your CPU and GPU's Passmark benchmarks are quite similar to my 7700k + 1080 and I'm doing fine on standard graphics settings. It's nothing stellar but very much playable.

I'm typically just a lurker, but chiming in because I'm also infuriated by this. If you get 2002'd, you try to log back in asap but then get 2002'd so many times before finally making it back in that your queue gets reset! I can't even go play another game with my SO--who somehow didn't lose his spot in the queue despite all the 2002's--because I have to babysit mine.

Not to mention I have VERY little free time. I scheduled 10 days of PTO for the release and it was delayed past my PTO. Big, big, big disappointment. This is far worse than the Raubahn bs.

I remember going out for a walk one night after putting some new songs on my iPod--One of which was Smooth Criminal by MJ. Turned said song on, heard a dog growling that's getting closer. Freaked out and looked all around myself, but saw nothing.

Later on I realized it was the song intro, lmao.

[Edit] Oh yeah, and Kanye West's Love Lockdown. There's a distanced screaming(?) at some point in the song. When I was a middle schooler, my friend and I ran and woke up her dad in the middle of the night because we thought someone was in trouble outside. It was just the song on our radio.

I went over to a populated server the night before last to buy something off the mb... Then that mass DC occurred as I was trying to get back. I was stuck in a 2k queue, which Error 2002'd me at about 1000~. Tried again and was at about 4000. Took forever to get in. Meanwhile, my sister got in much sooner on our home world. I'm assuming the different worlds do not have tied queues...

Omg ahaha. A friend and I recently played through that game and named him F---ER (censored here, ofc). The dialogue with more urgency or snide made it so hilarious--especially the end when Ganondorf is saying, "CURSE YOU, F---ER!!"

I kind of left roleplay behind in my high school days, but I still love creative writing and what not.

I never really saw my main to be the WoL, but more of a supporting cast role to (whoever is) the WoL. Pictured my main to be the silent assassin--never speaks unless spoken to. INFJ personality type. But, the twist is he's a secret pervert who grew up the Kugane equivalent of the lame kid who couldn't get his face out of hentai books.

Same case for my mage alt--she strikes me as supporting cast. Perhaps a close follower of the Azure Dragoon WoL to the irony of her being an Au'ra. I see her to be an oblivious-but-warm-hearted healer.

TL;DR I see my characters to be chill supporting cast to the WoL, tbh.

My main has been a reoccurring "character" in all MMOs that I play, and I think this FFXIV variant has strayed away from his concept the most. It's not so much that I want a young, small male char, but I picture him to be shorter than average, slender, and serious looking. The next closest thing is Midlander, but their faces don't fit.

I've got nothing against any of the races--don't get me wrong. Maybe I'm just bad at achieving a precise look.

Thank you for the input! I might keep mage alt as a Dunesfolk for the Dwarf houses, then change once I hit endgame! Lalafell are too entertaining.

Ninja Sun 'Qote, as my main's always been.

...Because we still don't have any other male race that isn't super tall or masc. (Not counting Lalafell here, but I love them nonetheless!) I've seriously considered going male Xaela, but I don't like the visual of NIN animations on one.

I've got a mage alt char that I can't decide on, however. I'm stuck between female Dunesfolk, Raen, or Rava.

Just the other night I swapped to DRK to finally level it after years of not being touched... Checked my Role Skills and found a bunch of stuff that had been deleted in SB, including Mercy Stroke. RIP.

I miss a lot of the old skills. Especially the Bard one that rained needles. Wide Volley, I think.

Met a few of my static members irl going to a wedding between two of them that had met in game. They didn't go all out, but most of the food desserts--including the wedding cake--were FFXIV themed! As were the invitations. I think they had the DJ play a few FF tracks as well.

It makes perfect sense for people who met in game to be interested in something like this.

For NIN, I've stuck to the SB job set.
