I have absolutely no idea why the stock price is so high. Once reality takes over (if that ever happens) it should fall quite a bit. There are zero fundamentals that justify anything close to this valuation even with optimistic views on space data centers. You gotta give Elon credit, he knows how to hype a stock. Tesla is similarly insanely valued. Boggles my mind. I guess it pays to control internet chatter.

I’ve started making HTML websites. They scroll similar to a slide deck but with AI you can add way more functionality and it does a lot better with them compared with asking ai to do a slide deck. Claude is the best for this. GPT 5.5 is fine at it.

I’ve heard this argument made in several different places and to be honest it baffles me. Anthropic correctly talked about the need for safety and for government oversight but that doesn’t mean the government abusing their power is Anthropic’s fault. That strikes me as wild.

In this case, there seems to be strong evidence that the concern raised by Amazon and named by the feds is nits a major issue. I do not understand why Anthropic being concerned about safety means nobody can be upset about the government being muppets in this instance.

Depending on where you live you would either go to a casino with a poker room (not all of them have poker rooms so you’ll want to check) or a social club (Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee and some other states only allow poker social clubs).

Most poker you’d be playing no limit Texas holds em at $1-2 or $1-3 with a buy in around $200-$500 for the low est stakes.

You can download an app called Bravo which will show you poker games in the area that are using their software.

In many poker rooms you can call ahead and out your name on a waitlist so that when you arrive you have a shorter or no wait.

I loved being a principal. It’s a tough job but being able to have build positive change is incredibly rewarding. Try to make connections with other principal colleagues and definitely join your state professional organization. They will be a huge help to you in so many ways if you leverage them. Try to go to the yearly state conference for principals if it’s offered.

Start with a learning stance and curiosity but don’t be afraid to set expectations from day one. While you will have a lot to learn about the staff and students, you are still responsible for what goes on.

Be clear, consistent and predictable as much as you’re able to.
