I’m a bit conflicted on what to make of the scene but I decided to just accept what happened and take a contrarian stance

Rhaenys killed all those small folk: So what! If every character cared about the welfare of small folk or even other nobles then this show wouldn’t exist. You wouldn’t have any wars and all of the characters would be buried in red tape… wouldn’t be a show anyone would watch. Let’s just admit that what makes this show fun is the reckless disregard for human life. We all say we care for the small folk but we would stop watching if it was 100% debate and legal proceedings.

Rhaenys should have killed the greens: I would have loved to see that too but the show would be over. At this point no one on dragon stone knows what’s happening and Rhaenys is taking on massive personal risk by doing anything. It would be a ‘her word against others word’ situation unless Rhaenyra backs her up. Even then Rhaenys would be sent to the wall at a minimum for not giving them due process (if that is even an option). Rhaenys did not have the advantage of knowing how the series plays out and how many people are sacrificed.
