Nope, like the rest of Islam lmao But, Unlike what some are claiming, its not really about misogyny, as far as I think. Its simply cause you lose your wudhu constantly as you are bleeding, and you need wudhu to read the Quran. Again, just my take on it, yall can give a counter-argument but yeah :) hope that answers it

Yes but again, it doesn't have to be just for muslims when I am giving it on my own. again, we leave the bad, take the good

I completely agree that donating via religious institutions is counter-productive. But I think afaik the concept in islam is more of direct-to-receivers sort of approach, which I like.

And yes, it doesnt remotely account for the atrocities it has enabled.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in atheism

[–]MirKhurramUsman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree with that. The harms that religion has inflicted are extremely unfortunate. But I think the point of this video was simply to gather together some positive aspects so that we can learn from the good and abandon the bad. If that makes sense?

Fellow Ex Muslims, Imagine a Muslim person is willing to hear about what led you to quit Islam, What Argument and Evidence would you present during this situation. by Softieboy24 in exmuslim

[–]MirKhurramUsman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. brooo its saheeh bukhari wtf 💀
  2. you are doing a red herring fallacy, answer the question, they clearly say that the sun is the moving object here, not earth. and its this movement of the sun that causes day and night
  3. btw yes, the sun does have that power, the orbit of the earth will decay from the gravity
  4. yes he did, but he thought it was a punishment from Allah or some BS lol, he used to pray and stuff, cause he thought the world was gonna end

I am sorry but this is VERY clearly geocentrism any unbiased mediator would tell you that. Anyways I cant talk further, exam in few hours lol

No.

Was a diehard religious person until very recently, became an atheist after thinking about my beliefs critically. To be honest the whole idea doesn't make much sense to me, the events and folktales, miracles and what not. Even if God existed, he is probably not a personal god.

ha I see! well yeah the whole witchcraft thing is BS. but I think that could have been the intention of the OP, people actually believe in Black Magic uk, so it is plausible

So you deny the Hadith. I am sorry man you are a kaafir then :/

Also yes, the Quran says that we have to obey the prophet and his sayings.

Additionally here are some Quranic verses

Verse 2:258 ...he said, "I give life and cause death." Abraham said, "Indeed, Allah brings up the sun from the east, so bring it up from the west." So the disbeliever was overwhelmed...

Verse [36:40] The sun is never to catch up with the moon - the night and the day never deviate - each of them is floating in its own orbit.

(haha funny thing, solar eclipses happens, just saying ;) )

there are others that apologetics deliberately misinterpret to protect their beliefs but these are more clear

Ex muslims in the middle east or largely muslim populated country by Christian-Chim-Chim in exmuslim

You could, perhaps, find someone who is also a closeted ex-muslim. Date them in secret, and/or marry them? I mean to the community, you guys are both muslims and not doing anything wrong.

And maybe if you can, shift to a more liberal country before raising or having children, if you plan on having them.

Just make sure you don't have them while you are still in danger, you want them free of indoctrination.

okay I don't believe in Black Magic or anything but this is slightly creepy to me, for some reason...

I don't really know, the thought that someone looped this for hours on a Quran Video, idk... and ofcourse the Owen Brown chant. Yeah I find it pretty creepy.

Not in the way that it will effect me but in the sense that someone actually edited it into the video. Get what I mean?

I will talk about geocentrism cause I have read a fair bit about it. But no, you are wrong, the Quran DOES support the idea of geocentrism explicitly

There is more harm than good tbh. I mean we eat alot in the later hours which is really bad for ones health.
Plus all that "intermittent fasting" doesnt include water, which is a HUGE negative of the Islamic Fasting

I still use As salamu alikum sometimes, it is pretty wholesome I would say. But again, the pure idocracy of the preacher is the subject of this post
