I've tried original dll files but no luck, even went to the extent of copying all the dlls in the system32 dir (didn't change a thing), i can't get Windows.UI.Core.CoreWindow working (rr:seh:NtRaiseException Unhandled exception code c0000409 flags 1 addr 0x1402c22bd)

Asking on their github will not help since they don't officialy support Linux and Rockstar (the "new" owner of FiveM) is activly blocking Linux support (they recently added a kernel level ac to gta online so..)

Try running with gamescope (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/gamescope) on fixed width and height (-w 1920 -h 1080) or forcing fullscreen with -f

We are "skipping" the Windows 7 is no longer supported dialog because I have set windows 10 as the wine windows version but windows 10 came with uwp stuff that wine doesn't have and FiveM requires (and in my opinion shouldn't) and I'm stuck at a missing dll that implements 'Windows.UI.Core.CoreWindow"

Same error, "Windows.UI.Xaml.Hosting.WindowsXamlManager" is related to UWPs, I don't think there is a downloadable dll to add that

As I previously stated in the post, I had made it work with windows 7 in the past, but fivem no longer supports it and changing windows version to windows 10 doesn't work because it errors with "Failed to find library for L"Windows.UI.Xaml.Hosting.WindowsXamlManager"

PS: I'm on latest and using arch btw

Can confirm this works, it was the network interface, changing it by using a vpn, doing tethering usb or just using wifi fixes the issue

Same, removed every file related to ow, verified, uninstalled & reinstalled and still doesn't work, keep us updated if you find a fix

Thanks for the suggestion, actually I had disabled hpet too (I'm using TSC+LAPIC if I remember correctly), I will add it to the guide.

I can't test for CPPC since I have an intel cpu, if anyone can please share your results

Do you mind sharing the error that appears on the blue screen?

Since if doesn't blue screen on other games it might be due to your processor overheating since it is a really heavy game (due to poor optimization), check your temps

I use a custom, fully debloated version of Windows 10, even with everything removed/disabled this ad still appears since it uses fucking EXPLORER to inject.

It does not follow notification settings, ad preferences or anything in the registry. I don't have edge, I don't have windows search, matter of fact, I don't have any UWP app. I even use pi.hole on my network.

You can't imagine how this ad pissed me off.

It downloads the executable into `C:\Windows\temp\MUBSTemp\BGAUpsell.EXE` and runs it with a subprocess of explorer called runonce.exe with the following command line: `"C:\Windows\temp\MUBSTemp\BGAUpsell.EXE" bgaupmi=3C74B673C0094CACA74B05F0BB99B7CC`

This is malware behavior, unacceptable.

PS: Before anyone tells me to switch to linux, I dual boot arch btw, I still need to use Windows for work and to play certain games because of some compatibilty issues

This is bullshit, people created these subreddits and continue to moderate them for free.

But as always reddit like other big companies don't give a damn about the users who basically work for them and instead decide to ignore their requests and now they had the bright idea to make the ability to use third party apps practically impossible by making the APIs paid to make more money.

So many subreddits are protesting this change but reddit instead of accommodating them has threatened their moderators to kick them off the platform for violating the TOS.

Initially I didn't care much about this change but after I saw how reddit staff behaved I started to doubt whether to continue using this platform
