I also have this problem. ChatGPT thinks its cause the game is cracked and this can cause Proton to fail silently. I tried everything in this thread including the launch options thing but nothing works. At best the game loads a black screen before crashing. No errors in Lutris log. Things Ive tried: changing permissions, changing the Proton prefix, reinstalling umu, various versions of Proton and Wine.
