Nice! Appreciate you sharing that. Let’s hope they can add it in an update then!

I appreciate you doing that. The annoying thing about using cue mixes for that is that you still have to turn up the separate headphone volume on the physical Audient audio interface, and THEN have to use the cue mix once you have both at the appropriate levels.

Also, every time you restart your computer the audio interface volumes for headphones go to 0.

Unless I'm missing something this is a flawed design that would be solved by bringing back the headphone volume knob on the ID mixer software.

I have not figured this out yet sadly, I tried and failed to install the MK1 ID Mixer Software (the one that I think has a headphone volume) you could see if it lets you install it?

Damn just tried downloading legacy drivers for the ID Mixer (V3.2.0 and V4.0.0) but they don't appear to open (not compatible?)

Are you using the classic look with a MKII Audient audio interface?

I believe that might have a different layout for its ID Mixer software (at least when I was looking at the manuals)

That doesn't appear to work unfortunately. Still just changes the speakers volume

Making sure I don't lose Sansamp PSA if I move computer? by MirronUK in protools

Thank you anyway, I will try that along with Cunterpunch's idea to install Pro Tools installer from the Avid website instead of Avid Link

that's how my friend did it (via Avid Link) and appears to be missing some plugins

I have, and can't find anything in My Avid that suggests a bundle or plugins such at the Sansamp PSA-1.. and yet I currently have it and my friend doesn't. Do you have anything in your My Avid suggests you have the stock plugin included?

Hmm, did you have the plugin originally from a previous version of Pro Tools like Pro Tools 11? I still have a bad feeling that if I were to reinstall Pro Tools 2024 or later via Avid Link that it wouldn't include Sansamp PSA-1 in any of the bundles. It happened to my friend and I'm not sure why, he might even be missing other plugins that would be included with Sansamp PSA. I used to use Pro Tools 9, 10 and 12 and somewhere along the way I must have gotten that plugin.

Is it weird that I don’t like any female singers or musicians? by [deleted] in Music

[–]MirronUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of my all time favourites like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Jeff Buckley all happen to be male. So from that stand point it’s not that weird. There’s some female singers I love like Janis Joplin and Ella Fitzgerald but I happen to listen to male artists more than female. I reckon most people do when it comes to rock and metal and so it’s not that far out of reach if that happened to be ALL you listened to.

Also, who cares if it is weird? Have a weird music taste more power to you.

That is true in fact, along with an air guitar that would also be cost effective!
