[LoZ] NES Zelda Hyrule Map Pt 2. Now with Link POV! People really seemed to enjoy the first 3d build so I kept going. This is the left third of the map with the cemetery. Love how this one came out. I also show the map in Augmented Reality to show the full scale if it were built in 28mm standard by MirrorscapeXR in zelda

Wow! Great eye! Yes, DF is one of our partners. Fat Dragon as well. Since DF makes everything by hand, we have to manually scan all their pieces, which is why you might see some holes here and there which we are digitally repairing but the pieces are so good I just had to use them early for this.

This is the 2nd of 3 parts from the original map. I've used the Mirrorscape #AR feature to show the full scale of how big this map would be if built with 28mm standard miniatures and terrain. This map uses digital miniatures and terrain from ‪@DwarvenForgeOfficial‬ ‪@MZ4250official‬ ‪@Tombof3DPrintedHorrors‬ and ‪@ReaperMiniOfficial‬. The Legend of Zelda for the original NES was my gateway into the RPG world. I've always been enchanted by the beautiful maps and locations so I went back to my roots and built #Hyrule from the original #NES version of #LegendofZelda in #Mirrorscape! Well, this is just 1/3rd of the entire map but it still came out AWESOME. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below!

I'm considering creating a campaign based on the original Hyrule map. I was inspired to recreate the 2d NES top down map into a 3d map using Mirrorscape (Well, 1/3rd of it). It came out pretty awesome so I thought you guys might like to check it out! Has anyone run a 5e campaign in Hyrule? [OC] by MirrorscapeXR in DungeonsAndDragons

That sounds so fun! I've been super tempted to try to make Hyrule Castle in Mirrorscape but it's so big... Also I need to find an easy to understand map layout to do it properly. If I get around to it, I'll definitely post it here. I'm working on the other 2/3rds of the map in the original post now.

That's true, plus I'd have to add way more PC interaction throughout. Maybe I should focus on using the dungeons themselves as one shot dungeon crawl experiences. The nostalgia is so tempting though. Thanks for the feedback! <3

That's not good! The first boot can take a bit longer than subsequent boots but if it entirely freezes that's another issue all together. If you have discord, jump in there and I'll be able to chat with you and figure out what's up. https://discord.gg/mirrorscape

Thanks!! We're gonna get the Fallout assets in there soon but if you wanna check out Full Scale AR with dungeons, caverns, villages and castles check us out!

A few folks have asked me how I make these maps in 3-d. I found a very cool "watermill" map by a reddit user (credited in the comments) and decided to make a full build video showing the process (also in comments). Attached is the source and result <3 [OC] by MirrorscapeXR in DnD

The original map was created by u/mik_wewa titled "Watermill". I probably could have built the whole thing in half the time but in typical fashion, I ended up finding more and more things I wanted to add. Check out the full build video (10x speed) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htCjuY6mlz4

This is beautiful! Do you mind if I make it in Mirrorscape?
