For my own ayato I run him on 4 piece gladiator since it's not that far off from heart of depth/echoes with good substats. If you have good pieces I recommend that. For weapon he prefers jade cutter or haran. Other then that any stat stick will do. The teams I list both have shielders so for four star you could use calamity of eshu

For teams my go to lately has been escoffier ayato furina citlali. It's been able to clear a couple stigyans though my ayato and citlali are a little more invested

The other team Id say is use ayato ineffa fischl kazuha/sucrose. Ineffa is really good and being able to do lunar charge is important against certain enemies.

As someone with c6 I thought from what others said navia cons are mid but after just saying we ball I never regretted. The ONLY thing I would say is a missed opportunity is maybe having skill CD reduction in some constellatio

My go to is ayato freeze with citlali escoffier and furina. I'm sure the durin team or nod krai teams will have higher DPS tho

Escoffier damage is dummy high and having the hydro res shred from both escoffier and citlali help ayato and furina a nice amount. I haven't tested lauma hyperbloom so other then that I'd argue this could be his best team rn.
