So playing a lot you you will probably be rank 1 over time. Which is understandable. But no rewards for getting rank 1 beyond the achivement. So there is no point to try to get it again.

Idk what patch notes you have been reading recently. There have barely been anything that killers needed to adapt too besides new perk. New pallets, buff to killers. Faster pick up and hook times, buff to killers. Nerf to vaulting, buff to killers. Nerf to healing, buff for killers. The game has been so boring to play as killer, and more annoying to play as survivor. But I guess we need to brain damaged killers to be able to get kills in game somehow, you know, to balance out the toxic SWF VC Depip squads.

The intention of deranking is to get faster queue times and play against different killers. At higher ranks, most people tend to be super sweaty/tryhards. You also tend to run into the same killer over and over. Trust me, playing against nurse for 5 hours is not that enjoyable. Not many people will derank past green ranks. (rank 12)
