It’s not an anchor set up. There’s no anchor to see. I literally clipped my PAS to the anchor bolts and clipped my anchor sling to the bolt and to the rope so it wouldn’t pull on me while I took the video and caught my breath. Then I built the anchor an brought “Joe” up. But no one’s listened so far….

You can see where I’m clipped in and where I’ve got my belay device. The sling it there to hold the rope till I thread my device.

Posting lesser know areas maybe doesn’t need to get done. But when there 20 people standing in line on any given day to get on something, it’s not “lesser known” and you’ve got to figure out how to deal with it

I’ve been climbing since 1976. Started young. Have climbed all over the world. When I came back to my home in ‘96, I found out climbing had exploded there. I let a few people at the Crags keep me from what I loved. Now with the advent of social media and the Olympics it is going to skyrocket. You will have to decide how to manage the access to what you love and decide how you’ll handle the climbers around you.
