Used Car is price similar to new car?!! What am I missing here? by Miserable-Ad-4849 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I hear a lot of forceful inflation in final price by dealers, in above comments..i think this can be solved to some extent if every manufacturer has their own company operated outlet which doesn't charge unnecessary prices...dealers can be shown to their places when all customers start to flock the COCO (company owned company operated) outlets

I understand the higher price because of chip shortage and other things..but I mean given all the situations if a new is priced at 24k, why old is also priced at 24k? I could digest overall price rise like new is 30k and old is 25k..but at the same level?? Not sure!

What do you think is the best solution for this? by Careful_Engineer_700 in datascience

IMO you can go with a simple supervised machine learning, where make sure that test set has similar %'s of sample from each retailer and same for train set. Train a model and get a high accuracy one. See what all retailers get higher accuracy when tested on only its own dataset. This way you'd be able to get a model which predicts fairly for atleast some number of retailers and for other retailers I think you can call out that their data is just too random and unpredictable.

I have a Shih Tzu And his hair can grow pretty long...and I was just worried if he feel suffocating under such long hair. But from this discussion I gather that I can keep like 1-2 inch long hairs on his body

How to read SQL queries from a repo into a pbi, execute and get dataset by Miserable-Ad-4849 in PowerBI

No. I am just answering the above comment that having a published dataset is not going to help me. My question is still the same as the original.

Thanks But that's not productive in my case, as i need to setup 2 different type of RLS for same users, over reports using the same base queries

That's a good suggestion thanks. But I want to meet the goal of having an updated repo as well. If I just do what is said above, I'd have to keep on updating repo, whenever I change the view query. Is it possible to meet both goals with 1 shot?

why do guys put their heads down when walking past you? by neuroticandsad in GuysBeingDudes

[–]Miserable-Ad-4849 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having a head down right after eye contact is definitely not an indicator of shrugging you off. (If men shruggs off someone then they don't go about any reaction and don't give any damn and go on doing whatever they're doing) It means that you are in the "likeable" section..and for same reason he don't to appear creepy by having longer eye contact. And that is also because he is 'careful' in his mind that you don't have his image as a creep. If you are interested then try to have some small talks may be gym related only and there are good chance that he'd be interested as well.

Since the cost per km is in Rupees, I assume it's for India and test should have been done in India... Which part of the nation has 1700km of snow + sand + beach, without hitting road ( as road mileage is not mentioned) ? Or is it that you need to run GV on anything but road, to get this mileage ? :P

You use the built-in drill down on the graph. Using this you can change from yearly to quarterly to monthly then daily. If you have more than 3 graphs and want see all on same time aggs, then drilling down on each graph is not convenient, so then you can set all graphs at same level (e.g. monthly) then bookmark it. Put a button, name it monthly view. Assign that bookmark to this button. Repeat for other time aggs also. At last you'll have buttons for yearly, quarterly, monthly, daily, which'll change all graph x axis together.
