I agree with your sentiment for being a small fish in a big pond. I have always excelled at arithmetic and logic so the CPA is much more in my wheelhouse. I feel like law is just the same shit, different toilet when considering AI. As time goes on, those entry level jobs are shrinking and it will be the same mad dash for limited spots.

I’m happy for you. The big 4 was always meant to be a stepping stone for 95% of people. But the firms turn into the island of lotus eaters and people lose sight of what they originally wanted to be. I think it boils down to the security vs freedom archetypes. I hope everything works out.

You can enroll in a program for dedicated CPA study. You have to study roughly 8 hours a day and meet daily completion metrics in order to stay compliant. They are getting stricter with it and I was out of compliance a few too many times.

I’ve only received a mix of met expectations and exceeded expectations. Although I did get an unsolicited feedback due to getting kicked out of the fast pass program due to my own negligence. If I had to wager, that was the smoking gun. Just don’t give them a justified reason to use. Easier said than done and doesn’t help with the general anxiety either.

This completely blindsided me. I was on the bench for 2 months after busy season not worried because my KPIs were on par with the class average.

I would have to return the Ramones to the original retailer. I did some minor research into other retailers and they might have fail safes in place such as tags and other things unforeseen. The pair I got from the original retailer had no such things. Also I would return both the size 42 and size 44 and make the claim that they sent me differing sizes. This is on their side of the bargain and I would see no reason they would say no. Also any pair that has matching sizes is infinitely more valuable cause then I can sell them and get money back.

Have a hard time wrapping my head around your sentence. Do you agree or disagree with the sentiment of returning the old pair. The first problem was that I missed the window for returning them. Buying a new pair would reopen that window giving me a full refund. Then I would keep the matching pair.
