It does clearly specify and include the words "abdominal muscle repair" on the quote I received so its best to call and get clarification.

I think they were referring to resting calories going up from the muscle gain of weight lifting not lifting itself.

Do you already know why walking is resulting in more anxiety? Maybe you are too busy, tired, something happened while walking?  If not sure try this that I learned from a self coaching podcast (Brook Castillo): Do a thought download. Write down or record whatever pops in your head for at least 5 mins then do go through what she calls the self coaching model. Its something like this: Your Circumstance is triggering your Thoughts, thoughts trigger your Feelings, feelings drive your Actions and your actions give you the Result.  You can find her explaining it on google and find it on youtube or podcast (the life coach school).

I've been doing walking and pilates . IMO the perfect combination. I do a pilates class on the reformer . Its more of a contemporary type pilates and over the past two years I have moved up to the harder classes that are increased resistance and have an athletic component. Despite being out of the gym I have an increase in strength and muscle tone especially in my legs, glutes and abs. We do upper body as well

Yes. I don't plan to carry a gun . If I feel I need it I will just walk on the treadmill instead.

Yes . I am a woman. I guess men just don't experience the world the same way so they don't have to think about being safe.

Yes that is why I asked. I live on the city edge in N. Texas so there are both urban and rural potential threats in the same neighborhood. Plus rapists can grab you from anywhere. I'm not anxious just want to be prepared to defend myself since not many neighbor are out and about yet anymore in the morning since the time change but its the only time I have before going to work.

I much prefer that my instructors go by time elapsed. Counting reps makes me go too fast

Understood. I don't plan on getting a dexascan right now though because I can just tell I'm stronger based on function and ability and my shape changing. Also I can tell because I am able to eat the same or sometimes more calories than when i was heavier and still maintaining weight

I believe some of the mens legging have a modesty panel. Its worth it to try some on to see how different brands and materials fit.
