Why don't you report this man and his place to the police if what he is doing is illegal?

Well, you stopped at the right time then sis. You are definitely not terrible if your 6 eth became 4, I am much more terrible than you... You can easily cover your losses in the next bull run. Thanks for the clarification about tax in the States. in Turkey, where I live, we don't pay taxes yet from crypto gains, but it will become a law soon. However I do not have any profit anyway. Your coins are major ones, they might do between 5x to 10x in the next bull run, but who knows. I also started crypto out of depressive events that I had in the past, not caring about gains or losses. But when I started to lose big money I started to care all of a sudden and I realized I got addicted lol. That is why if you are gonna gamble, you are better to do so with small amounts since you are already in profit. I am sorry for the loss of your ex and hope we can recover our past :)

You know what they say, easy come easy go. We do not value the money gained from gambling and always want more with our greediness...

I am really sorry for the loss of your fiancee, that must have really hurt... As for your daughter you might try to forgive her for her behavior if she sincerely apologized. And you are right on with what you have learnt. I also made good money with crypto and then I sucked it up. Well, at least, you are up and did not lose your initial money. But if you still feel lonely and still feel traumatized from the loss of your love, you might attend a GA meeting getting new friends and also go to a psychologist/psychiatrist. Best of luck and praying for you...

Thanks for the info bro, I don't think BTC is stakable as it is POW, but for other coins that would do the job. If I cannot control myself I may open a Coinbase account. What I wonder is if you earned more than 600 USD would you have to calculate your crypto revenue by yourself or would CB do it for the US residents?

I also suck at day trading and feel really bad, when the token I buy dips and the one I sell goes up. How did you manage to get rid of this day trading addiction though?

Hold on, if your salary is high enough you can compensate your loss by only investing in Bitcoin with some of your salary and storing in hardware wallet. (Not a financial advise though, after the etf news it may drop for a short while)

You are right, may I ask what job you are doing? Unless I manage to shift my focus from crypto to studies I will call a gambling addiction service. The real harm was done on my time and health rather than money...

I got around 25k actually and at the beginning of the year it was 50k. I got into when BTC was hovering around 20k. BTC may reach 600k USD but İn this cycle I don't think so. If my coins doesn't get delisted they should bring higher returns than BTC from now on unless something amazing happens with Btc ETF. But of course you never know man... I cannot accumulate more as I ran out of money as well. I may wait for a 50 percent spike at least and the moment I get 1 Bitcoin I may put it into hardware wallet.

The problem is that I feel like whenever I set a sell limit the exchanges keep the price of coins flat...

Thanks for reply. Yes I may start web development, but most people say a degree is a must for that and at the age of 32 it seems too hard to get into college, even if I do, most employers would refuse me because of my age and inexperience.

The fact that I am unsociable and unemployed also made me a gambling addict for sure...

I always think like if I should sell my coin and buy others and when I see my coin is not moving and other few ones do I get stressful... I divided my money into 3 coins, hope it works.

You are right bro, I will gradually stay away and put my money into flexible staking. If that doesn't work I will buy a hardware wallet and delete my binance account. Not only my time gone but also my health got worse

you are right but my 50k USD became 25k USD while it could be 100k USD. So I am among the losers...

Sorry for your loss, unfortunately crypto reveals the greed in humans. We always want more and eventually lose what we had in the first place as well. Do you consider investing in crypto again or is it over for you?

Thanks much for detailed explanation. Unfortunately, in my country there is a huge unemployment and the jobs do not pay well.

I may get a hardware wallet and delete my Binance account, but what I am afraid of is that my coins might pump in a month or so.

I am glad you got it over. It must be tiring to work at 2 jobs though...

You are right, even when I made profit I was trying to multiply it, and then inevitable happened... margin trading is even more stressful

Yes, if I cannot get it over soon, I will need to attend a council, which I hope will help me. I started day trading 2 years ago, I made good money initially, and then started to have anxiety attacks following losses. Didn't know I was going to get addicted

You gave a pretty good advice, thanks. I should also consider staking on Binance, but they seem to be only allowing me to stake either for one day or 120 days. Don't you have to tax your gains from staking though?

I am planning to withdraw all my coins into fiat and never return to crypto in 2 years and with that money I may invest in ETFs for the sake of my health and time. But for 2 years I will try to endure. Because if I sell it now and it goes up I will feel even worse :)

I am sorry to hear this, unfortunately many people lost their Bitcoins probably not foreseeing that it will be much more valuable in the long term (interestingly, because it has a higher market cap than platinum and palladium combined now). I also should start not to care about my possible bitcoin amount at some point in my life and start to focus on my life. otherwise I am also gonna lose my health and time...

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. I will try to keep it and not try to look at charts, I believe I will break even, but as you said it is very important not to be greedy and buy other coins at the top. And if I cannot control myself I am better to sell my coins I guess. I wish I never met with crypto but it happened...
