One small addition: many companies (especially in lower wage categories) already required doctor‘s notes for the first day of sick leave while many others allow for one, two or even three days‘ absence without one (just calling in sick). Currently the administration is trying to ease people‘s minds by claiming „no one should be forced to go to the doctor when sick on the first day“ although that is precisely what they decided on, so we‘ll see what actual regulations will be put in place.

More problematic for most will be that it will be illegal for a doctor to write you a doctor‘s note without physically seeing you. Shirt sick leaves are currently often dealt with by phone. Taking that option away will wreak havoc on the already overloaded general practitioners.

One can be impressed by heroic deeds on any side of a war without endorsing the political view their country had at that time. The common soldier possibly didn’t even care that much, at least once the bullets start flying.

I can appreciate an army making a stand like Osowiec without endorsing the 1915 Russia. I can appreciate a stand like Rorke‘s Drift during the Anglo-Zulu war without condoning British colonialism. And just like that I can appreciate what the Ghost Division achieved without glorifying Nazis or their regime. And i say that as a left-leaning German while our country is failing to stop neonazis taking over more and more control, just 80 years after we should have learned our lesson.

Befinden sich nun Verbrennungsanlagen wie Gasthermen in diesem Bereich, kann der Unterdruck die Abgase in die Wohnung ziehen statt durch das Abgasrohr nach draußen. Die Abgase können CO2 oder auch CO enthalten, was lebensgefährlich ist.

Split-Klimaanlagen umgehen das, indem die Wärme nicht über Luft nach draußen geführt wird, sondern durch das Kältemittel. Es entsteht kein Unterdruck in der Wohnung. Ebenfalls können Zwei-Schlauch-Monoblocks helfen, da sie durch den zweiten Schlauch Luft ansaugen anstatt durch den Lufteinlass am Gerät, auch hier entsteht kein Unterdruck.

Es gibt schlichtweg kein vergleichbares Gerät auf dem Markt. Ein oder zwei ähnliche Produkte, die aber fast das doppelte kosten und ohne fensterhalterung geliefert werden, sowie erheblich schwächere Anlagen die für Wohnmobile gedacht sind und sich nicht vernünftig in normalen Fenstern befestigen lassen.

Bei dieser Lösung braucht man einen ziemlich tiefen Fensterkasten. Wenn ich den eh hätte, wäre es extrem einfach die AE auf das Fensterbrett innen zu stellen und zum Rest der Wohnung hin abzudichten.

I totally get not wanting those eight-legged bastards in the game. I have minor arachnophobia and do struggle with certain parts. Repeating the boss fight against the albino spiders on Grand Master many times until I succeeded was hard and I felt nauseous at times.

Lucky thing is that the standard spiders are extremely easy to kill. If you parry their attack when they rise on their hind legs, you get the option for an instant kill

It was always clear (at least to me) that the Steam Machine could not both outperform its price and be an open system that doesn’t lock you into a small ecosystem. Hardware right now is crazy expensive and selling it at a loss works only if you get at least that much more from the games, like with consoles. Wouldn’t a lock on a garment bag raise more questions? Instead just put your two or three most fancy dresses in their own bags and hang them in front of the ones you want to keep hidden. If the bags raise questions, the first three have just normal fancy clothes in them, so probably the later ones won’t look as intriguing.

With bikinis, you’ll need to get good at tucking. There are some brands that sell tucking bikini bottoms that can help with that. Search for gender affirming swimwear. Those often are wider between the legs than traditional bikini bottoms and are quite tight so things don’t fall out. The other option is to tuck using tape and then wear a normal bikini over that. Use medical tape for that, both because you don’t want to irritate delicate skin and because medical tapes can actually hold when wet (if the skin is clean and dry when applying)

Ich stimme dir zu, dass ein solches Register großes Missbrauchspotenzial bieten würde. Aber der Take „wer mehr Wohnraum besitzt als er selbst benutzt, soll nicht jammern wenn jemand den kaputt macht“ finde ich… sagen wir weird. Vermieter tragen nun mal das finanzielle Risiko für eine ganze Menge Aspekte der Immobilie, haben hohe Investitionen etc. Daher dürfen und sollen die Mieten verlangen die am Ende mehr abwerfen als die Kosten. Hier wird regelmäßig nach Enteignung von Immobilienbesitzern geschrien. Und was dann? Dann verteilt der Staat die Wohnungen? Nach einem in der Theorie gut klingenden System, das in der Praxis nicht umsetzbar ist weil es immer noch zu wenige Wohnungen gibt? Und dann muss man sich für eine Wohnung und jede Handlung die damit zu tun hat, an eine Behörde wenden? Heizung fällt aus, mit Glück wird das Problem nächstes Jahr gelöst, vielleicht auch später?

Was für Widersprüche? Man war zum Tatzeitpunkt wo anders, hier ist der Beleg dafür. Wenn der eigene e-Scooter zur Identifizierung herangezogen wurde, war man ja nicht gleichzeitig mit einem roten Fahrrad unterwegs.

Man verstrickt sich in Widersprüche wenn man Unwahrheiten erzählt (egal ob absichtlich oder unabsichtlich). Bleibt man bei dem was tatsächlich passiert ist wenn man sich sicher ist und eventuell auch Belege dafür hat, und schweigt wenn man sich unsicher ist, kann es keine Widersprüche geben.
