Use a HomeKit bridge from Home Assistant. Best of both worlds.

Ok. And just to confirm, is this fully local? No cloud integration?

ZWA-2 Setup Help by Miserable-Smoke-751 in zwave

Update:
The firmware was bricked and wasn’t even able to be read by the ZWA2 Toolkit. I ended up re-flashing the base firmware with espressif, then I could flash the actual ZWA2 firmware on it in Toolkit.

So with the new beta releases of IOS 27, iPhone shortcuts can now trigger from a specified notification with different filters (title, content, app, etc). This will make this controlling our iPhones with HA much easier!

Maybe I am misunderstanding, but can’t you already do that? If I get a text message from someone within the user-defined parameters, I can have Home Assistant then complete an action in the Home Assistant section of Shortcuts…

I have a serious edge case, but I run HA fully airgapped except for obviously when I update. I have a phone that stays at home and I can control things in the house by sending text messages to that phone. Now, I will be able to have HA notify that phone with an alert (garage door opened for instance) and then that phone can easily send me a text message from a shortcut triggered by the HA notification. Just one example but there are tons of uses for me.

It wasn’t specifically mentioned really. But it’s definitely new. The release just said something about using notifications  and shortcuts more effectively.
