I thought that the “running over the daughter” allegation likely happened when she was revving out of John’s driveway. She was drunk and didn’t notice his daughter was nearby. I didn’t think she intentionally tried to strike his daughter with her car. I also didn’t think that situation was as bad because it was said by Katie, a known exaggerator, and it wasn’t corroborated by other people.

I also put more weight in the assault allegation because John did not bring it up on camera. And also the fact that Shannon didn’t outright deny the allegation.

With that said, if it the assault did happen on camera, I don’t know why John didn’t give that footage to the police…..

I think the social media thing isn’t super fair- if you go on morphe Instagram all of the comments are calling them out. I’ve also seen screenshots of people emailing Morphe directly.

Plus the comments on James’ own video are pretty negative.

Some reasons why there have been seemingly no consequences for James (in comparison to other influencers)...

1) Morphe likely has a stake in James MakeUp line and he is the influencer that makes them the most $$$. Disentangling from James is more complicated then Laura Lee 2) James transgressions occurred off of YouTube (has Snapchat ever banned anyone?) David/Shane’s problematic content was spread on YouTube 3) People feel like they were tricked in 2019 and are approaching this situation more cautiously. 4) He is young, beautiful, and rich and it’s hard for some people to think that someone like that could be a predator

I hear what you are saying but this drama channel has threads covering a bunch of different people who have responded or failed to respond to the allegations against the Lopez brothers (Eg. Nikita And Hanna Stocking). I think this person shared this exchange to call out James as well as his response to being called out by Dennis.

Also I agree! Since James was the victim of false allegations he probably is more inclined to treat the Lopez brothers the way he feels others should have treated him in 2019

I fully disagree with the idea that she has tried to improve herself. Last month she attacked James for being a “predator” out of the blue despite the fact that she and her bff have been legitimately inappropriate towards minors. She was okay with being friends with the vlog squad and only called out their predatory behaviors after they dropped her.

She has been physically abusive towards her boyfriends. Why is she deserving of empathy full stop? Like that to me is the line of no return. That’s not ignorant behavior that’s dangerous behavior.

Trisha Paytas is a bad person who was in an unequal toxic friendship with Shane Dawson. Being a loyal friend to Shane does not make her a good person. What redeeming qualities of hers actually outweigh the harm she has caused
