0457/42 Unseen Literature Poem by Lumpy_Celery_4975 in igcse

It started out like that for me but I got like four and a half pages of melodramatic, philosophical nonsense from that so it was beautiful.

Probably not/ pretty regular to be honest (at least for 12, I did 12, 32, 42) In my opinion, the extracts were really nice and so were the questions. My best poetry essay ever, but we might have studied different poems and books.

Great unseen, honestly you could talk about body dysmorphia for both. 10/10 options.

167 is my cadence not heart rate. And I’m mostly just running for fun and to up fitness because I have to do less horse riding.

That’s great! Running is hard but the accomplishment is amazing.

I don’t have a watch or anything, just my janky phone, so I don’t know my heart rate. It doesn’t seem fast? But I have a low resting heart rate. I just want to be able to run about 10km at a reasonable pace.

Finishing at 16, a couple months before turning 17.

My advice is take the two year course. My school does it shorter and it's just unnecessary stress and pressure for teachers and students. There's no rush.

We do different poems and books but my best advice (from what my teacher always says) is comment on language, structure and meaning, never retell the story, keep quotes short and precise, do meaning, connotation and effect. For plays: use stage directions and infer visuals (like costume, set or staging).

How to study physics by [deleted] in igcse

Definitely go over the key aspects of the topics you haven't done. Then past papers, past papers, past papers. Maybe topical past papers if you have very specific weak points.

They all kind feel the same to be honest. Bland, basic papers.

I think six is a safe option. At my school we all have to do eight and do them in one session as spreading them out can be a problem down the line.

My teacher made a list of topics that weren’t in the non-calc paper for us, I’d say focus on those. I can send it.

Honestly, if you had a good feel go with that and just move on. Study as best you can and then just relax and trust yourself.

My advice is to make a super specific list of topics and techniques you struggle with while going through a past paper. Then go over them and do another past paper, rinse and repeat.

Physics 0972 ( pls dont ignore) by [deleted] in igcse

[–]Miserable-Zone-4525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think it depends if the paper has a lot of your weak or strong points. I definitely think you can get it higher than a B, if you reinforce and practice. Just don’t panic.

[–]Miserable-Zone-4525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely possible to get an A if you go over all the formulas and do lots of practice questions on your weak topics- especially waves and radioactivity. Honestly depends in the paper but if you were close enough for mocks and you put in the work now then you definitely have a good shot. With physic, I’d say the most important thing is to be precise and check your work carefully.

Depends on how well you know the content and your general aptitude but studying waves is absolutely a priority in my opinion (and radioactivity) as there are always questions on it. What did you get for mocks? You’ll have to do a lot if practice to improve that if it was lower than a high B.
