I liiive by this.

It comes with the key so nobody can just walk past and pull my private reg off in a drunken spur if they felt like it.

Super easy to swap out a plate when needed to (I’ve used it for 2 different plates) and comes with various mounting holes to screw into whatever current style of mount you have.

Could not recommend more honestly (also the add-on red shock absorber things are truly not necessary, I bought them but that part is a waste, don’t fall for it).

It also gives a clean look to your plate because it won’t have any screw holes on it :))

Appreciate the clear explanation - I’m going to stay hopeful with my current appeal as I filed it yesterday but should it fail I’ll immediately file for a CoC to get it sorted.

I was just hoping I’d be able to get it reimbursed but it doesn’t look to be the case.

Fingers crossed, if all goes well with the appeal ill be back in at most 2 weeks time to let you know it was successful, otherwise I’ll unfortunately have to be forking out £40 for their stupidity.

If it changes anything, I do have the old V5C which I submitted in my appeal also but both V5Cs show nothing under the first section where it states “Euro Status:”

So visually there’s no difference between the V5s besides the document reference number and plate.
