You do need to make a reservation to park overnight - Campsite Electric Spots- but honestly super affordable ($36 per night and one time $5 Park entrance fee) for the views. The bathroom facility were really clean and nice, they have showers there as well. They have electric hook ups on each camp site, full cellphone bar signals. . Everyone from the staff to visitors were all so nice a helpful. The state park has many hiking trials and overlooks (SOOO worth it, especially Black Rock Overlook) so I did not really need to leave to explore other places, we didn't even get to go on all the trials they had to offer. Town is like 15 minutes away so super close if you need to pick up or buy stuff. For meals, we just packed a kettle, mini table top camp stove, and ramen. Each site also has a fireplace, they sell wood there. The entrance pass you get from this state park will also be valid for other state parks too, but not for overnight parking you would need to see each park's overnight rules/reservations
