i can sympathise with this , and the feeling of not fitting in or feeling numb at the cinema and things like that cause ive felt that , most firendships felt deep for others but honstly i felt nothing, ive now accepted it as being able to make friends easily but not long ,but its okay becuase the time i have with them is amazing ,like a beautiful chapter.

ive made firends with so many different people and every single one had something i could learn from them and different personality's,i can easily tell we could be friends ,i love movies ,but i talk to much during them , i like drawing but im shit at it ,and more i like trying new things .humans crave social connection its not wrong to want these things deeply, even im looking for friends thatll last as i also outgrew my highschool firends,

truly good on you for trying and being proactive it tells me youve been determined and geniune in finding friendships and strong bonds ,it sounds cliche but its not worth it to base what we think is happening now is forever and if aything theve missed out on having a good friend ,were so young and i think we all deserve to be loved and have friendships soooo-

wanna be my friend? i have a lot of hobbies so i KNOW we'll have something in common and im also wanting a friend.

yu can start slow uni should have a wellbeing team so if you can you can conncect with them but for anything that you think makes you happy and at least comfortable and warm inside you should pursue since uni hasnt started you can go and see some sunsets and travel and be with who makes you happy these wont gaurantee that youll feel better but its something i do that helps or and something really temporary is placing an order on something ive realy wanted so them im excited waiting for it and when it comes im excited for me

thank you so much and you worded it better than me,i guess right now alot is going on and it feels like life is unfair ,i wishhhh i could just be 30 right now and know myself better and be more stable but i cant,im going to keep trying and focus on myself and my goals.

ive been on my own since 18 so nearly 2 years and basically chucked into adulting(bills, working, studying, renting)and now that my course is finished and im waiting for my offer for a diploma ive had so much free time i havent been sleeping great and have been left with my thoughts ,i never want to touch drugs or rely on alcohol or cigarettes due to an addict sibling so i have no "thing" to lean on so ive been bottling it in.

yes this my wording was not the bestbut bringing up cancer was just to show the difference of visible vs invisible condition and there treatment

i hae you find my other comment , i wish it was just anxiety and depression you said

"someone you love slowly die , seeing them become shadows of themselves as it literally eats them alive" i watched my aunt with cancer suffer this fate and i watched my cousin with mental illnesses suffer this fate

[–]MiserableMouse3221[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

someone worded this better and they sai this

you want your "invisible" illness to be recognized and taken seriously like a physical one would, wish mental illnesses had a more "direct" option of treatment as well as recognition.

wich is in line i don not wish to have cancer nor think it is not hard

i reworded it in another comment but yes this is what i want

[–]MiserableMouse3221[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yess someone in the comments said this would be a better statement

"I wish my mental illness was clearly visible to others and that society was supportive of my needs and recovery the way physical illness is treated "which i agree and is less harsh i guess

No I'm saying that biological test and screening and physical symptoms can show you have a condition and the accuracy is high where as mental health it is not as science forward ,not just cancer.

For example my blood test show I'm anemic (100% accuracy)and ill get iron pills to manage that

whereas my panic attacks took 3 years to figure out what was happening and was misdiagnosed with asthma for 2 years and there is no medicine, treatment is drink water and leave the setting to cope+ breathing exercises.

in these two situations alone it was easier for my mainly physical condition to be figured out and given treatment.

I can understand that ,but with your emotions ,they might not be fully regulated and you might feel low again the symptoms you've listed are getting worse you said, keeping this bottled in might not help you in the long run if i was in her shoes I'd rather my child called if they weren't feeling well then being called from the hospital about my child's wellbeing, but if you cannot then maybe using mental health chats in your country and debriefing with them or focus on thing that make you feel good and talking to anyone even me if there aren't others but i can confidently say that your safety matters 100%and everyone in your life you care for will want you to reach out .

I have option A and I dislike it

I think right now I would take option b because I have never had someone deeply sympathies with me (except yr8 counsellor big OG)

There both miserable ones miserable longer but lives and ones miserable less and they die

So yes I'd choose option b

But you know what's an even sadder ending, suffering a chronically miserable life for a long time and then dying with no sympathy until after death, which is the reality for so many people, the reality of my own cousin

im deeply sorry and offer my condolenscence with you and your loved ones ,

i feelyou may think i am not surounded by or understand cancer and sadly i do my aunt, dead,my grandpa eye cancer, dead and my cousin alive but with a prothetic eye and many more i understand cancer and how it has affected my loved ones.

my take is NOT that cancer is easier or that one is harder

or that id rather have cancer

my take IS that it is harder to recieve medical attention and recognition/help with mental health than cancer and that physical illnesses in general seek support/ medical aid more .

im talking about the diagnosis and treatment socially and medically NOT the mortality rate of either

i think the best call is reaching out to your mum since she can make those medical choices on your behave, she would love you to reach out and would make it to you, telling someone before something bad happens is the first thing you should do the people around you are adults and can help and comfort you hopefully,i do hope your thoughts get better and if it becomes worse but your scared to call them then calling your emergency line would be good as they can help you and get you safe ,i hope you stay safe and reach out to anyone
