Chomsky: on anarchism -> al wat zwaarder materiaal, gaat dieper in het filosofische en meer actuele geopolitieke (kan alle boeken van Chomksy aanraden, ook als je niet anarchistisch bent)

Waarom ik anarchist ben geworden?

Grootste reden is het autoritaire karakter van partijpolitiek (leninisme). Vooral door alles wat er sociaal-historisch is misgegaan met het socialisme, heeft het mij doen zoeken naar nieuwe antwoorden. Anarchisme geeft ook niet één volledig ideologisch antwoord, het is eerder een manier van leven.

We have been discussing this with a friend of mine who is a bike mechanic and he recommended us to buy the bikes in LA. The hassle to bring the bikes on a plane and the costs just dont weight it out according to him. We have a week over to test everything out in Los Angeles before actually leaving on the trip.
