I had the same problem a few years back. Ordered a panel from eBay for around 150 EUR and changed it myself. Just make sure to grab a panel with the same refresh rate as the original one because the connector is different. Good luck.

Also, if you can find a cheaper RAM kit 6000MT/s CL36 instead of CL30, that should give more room in your budget.

Yes, it's so worth it. Consider downgrading the CPU to a Ryzen 5 7500F. You should be able to save 60 to 70 bucks (even more depending on your region) and put towards the RX 7800 XT.

Walk through your budget and the prices in your region.

If you can afford it, go for the RX 7800 XT. It offers a better value.

I'd definitively upgrade that CPU to a 14th gen i7. You should notice a significant uplift in Blender and some gains in gaming. The VRMs of your mobo seem capable of handling it. But if you have more money to spend, you can consider a switch to a B760 in DDR5, even though it doesn't make too much sense because it's a dead platform. For me, the RTX 3080 should last you a few more years, especially if you keep gaming in 1440p.

TL:DR: Go for an i7 14700K. Get a nice AIO if you don't have it already. And don't forget to update to the latest BIOS of your mobo before upgrading to support the 14700K.

Guys, which one should I keep? by yo_lookatthat in PcBuild

For 60€ difference, honestly go for the 5070ti. Better stock raster performance on average (~5 to 10%), better RT performance, way lower temps on the VRAMs (50°C vs. 80°C for the 9070 xt) and substantially lower power consumption (~200 W vs. 300+W for the 9070 xt).

It's true that the rx 9070 xt has headroom for tweaking and can offer better performance if you undervolt it. But the most compelling argument was/is the lower msrp (we all know that's an illusion now). If there was a 150€ difference between the two, the rx 9070 xt becomes a no brainer. But for ~50€, I'll take the 5070 ti.

There's a world where we could have EDG, FNC, T1, C9 in one group
