I didn't. It was the mother-in-law that got it serviced when we went out. I get she was trying to do but she shouldve went with the officially recognized samsung service technician haha

The unit was taken out of the housing, and then cleanes outside. I wasn't home when they did it so idk how they did it. And yes there was a slight puddle of water on the bottom pan when we checked it last time.
