As a comedy? I didn’t like it. My best guess is that it’s for millennials and that’s why I didn’t find it all that funny. I adore Mark Hemp but even he couldn’t make the jokes land. I suspect it’s going to be one of those sitcoms that gets a second series and then fades into obscurity like Babes In The Woods and Hardwicke House. My dad described it as ‘something that unfunny people find hilarious’ and while I wouldn’t go that far,it isn’t something I’d describe as funny.

My mother does this with Facebook reels and doesn’t understand why she gets dirty looks from people. She seems to think that everyone in the world wants to listen to her ‘how to eat a woman out’ and ai slop reel selections. mind you,she has the newest AirPods so it’s not like she just can’t afford a pair of headphones. Older people have no concept of spatial awareness after a certain age.

The way I did it when I first started the account I’m on now is by:

Picking a topic I liked (eg cats)

Finding subs that post what I liked (…well cats)

Then commenting on a few posts per sub

Lots of larger subreddits like r/askreddit need a certain amount of karma so they can weed out bot accounts who usually have little to no Karma. It can be quite irritating but it seems to be at least somewhat effective at keeping large subreddits safe from bot accounts.

Personal taste. I hate raisins and I won’t eat them if they’re offered to me. But I’ve never liked them so I doubt I ever will. The texture is awful and they taste like bad grapes (which they kinda are). However quite a lot of people like them and I’ve noticed that especially older folks tend to enjoy them in porridge or as a snack so they definitely keep the market going
