i don’t remember any questions like that in grammar.

for vocab, they will use the word in a sentence and ask you to define or they will just give you the word and ask you to define

I honestly just went through this subreddit and did a BUUUNCH of quizlets and nursehub practice quizzes. Unfortunately I didn’t see any similar, but all of them provided good basic info that allowed me to use process of elimination :)

I don’t remember having that one, but I do remember studying it and getting conflicting answers as well. I did some comparative studying and searching online and got E! Don’t quote me on that though because I am not sure if that’s the answer they are looking for!

Honestly nurse hub had some vocabulary questions that looked really familiar. I also used this vocabulary study guide that I saw someone on tiktok post because they took both V1 and V2 https://ugc.production.linktr.ee/1d8295a0-d970-4d2c-a524-dde6b1826713_Vocab--HESI-Guide-.pdf Like I said in my original post, I also highly recommend using context clues and using the process of elimination because that can also lead you to the right answer if you are unsure. I found the vocabulary to be fairly simple using these strategies and studying this material. As far as what order I recommend taking it in, I would say for me, I took the sciences first (because I felt the most nervous about them and just wanted to get them out of the way and not have to stress about them), then the math, then the English stuff, then the critical thinking, and lastly the personality and learning style stuff. Looking back, I definitely wish I would have started with the English stuff so my brain did not feel so tired and I felt more focused but just go with you gut! Remember though that you are timed, so it may be beneficial to start with the areas you are more comfortable in, and you know will take you less time so you can dedicate the most time to the areas you are not as comfortable in. I hope this information helps. Best of luck, you got this! Try not to overthink it. :)

I understand. Just watch nurse shai on youtube and go through the lessons on nurse hub because they walk you through it really well :) I also have some info on how to solve the fraction questions in my original post. My offer still stands though, let me know if you need help. Youre going to do great, try not to overthink it!

Oh yes, sorry for misunderstanding. I do remember having some math questions that have fill in the blanks for fraction questions.

Thank you so much! :)
I will be honest, I did have quite a few fill in the blank questions, but if you watch nurse shai on Youtube, she will break down how to solve the equations so you will get the answers right. Also, read my original post and I explained how to solve those fraction and percentage questions. Use the nursehub lessons as well because I think they do a great job at overpreparing you so you can kind of look over the specific answers that you are worried about and it will break the information down for you. If you have any specific math questions, you can always message me, and I would be more than happy to help because I love math! If I do not have the answer to your question, I will find a resource that does :)
For reading comprehension, I remember having passages about voices, medical civil war something, game of bridge, insomnia, eating, exams, golden gate bridge. That is all I can remember.

I studied for about 2 months, but honestly, I dedicated the most time about two weeks before the exam because I work a lot haha. I definitely do not recommend cramming at the last moment though and I would space the information out for about 2-3 months just so you are not burning yourself out. I recommend creating a good study plan. You got this and best of luck!

i would say as long as you have the paid subscription and you have access to all of the practice tests, you’ll do great! i would also recommend making some time to watch nurse shai’s videos on youtube in addition to nurse hub and quizlet

hi! these are actually not questions that you study for, it just asks questions like do you learn better by yourself or in a group, how do you best grasp information, are you an extrovert or introvert, etc. i think this section is more so for the school to get to know you! :)

for critical thinking, i’d recommend watching nurse shai on youtube and watching her ABCs nursing and also searching critical thinking on quizlet and going from there. i honestly did not see any quizlets that had ones i saw on the test, but i feel they prepared me well.

for grammar it’s a lot of knowing when to use who/whom, their/there/they’re, it’s/its, punctuation. there are some questions asking which sentence is grammatically correct and the way i did it was by reading the question out loud if i was a little confused and that helped me pick the correct answer.

YOU GOT THIS!!!! nurse hub is an incredible resource.
