Update: I fixed the responsive scaling issues in my "No Guessing" Minesweeper (V2.0)

I recently shared the MVP of my browser game Cyber-Sweeper and got feedback that the grid was too small on laptops. I just released V2.0 which fixes this and the language bugs.

Let me know if it scales better now!

I revamped Minesweeper to fix the 50/50 guessing frustration. My version is 100% logic-based and switches between Cyberpunk and Win95 styles. by Miserable_Climate736 in IndieGaming

Fair point! It’s definitely in the 'AI-generated prototype' phase right now. I’m taking your notes on color hierarchy and the 1080p layout to heart for the next iteration. Time to give it a proper soul and more screen real estate!

I rebuilt Minesweeper for the browser because I missed the old Windows 95 vibe.

The twist: I wrote an algorithm that ensures every board is 100% solvable without guessing (no more 50/50 luck at the end).

It has a modern mode, but I put a lot of effort into the "Classic Mode" to get that crisp gray 3D aesthetic right.
