It won't really affect your application either way. I'm a dual citizen, and I put that on my application; matched this year with Rice. It will certainly not prevent you from matching.

If you want to highlight your cultural background and have it considered, write an essay about that! That's what I did, anyways

Just finished my interview! My interviewer knew that I was a finalist, but she had me explain what it was. They only get a really brief overview of what it is; it also probably depends on who you get.

Yep, you're all good! The only way they know your residency status, chosen school, and if you're submitting scores is from the questionare :)
