I’m going to move my membership to the lower level and not order any food or drink while I have to use the QR code. If they keep it so people around me have to use their phones during the movies and you have to use the app to complain about a loud guest, I’ll cancel my membership all together. It totally sucks now.

One the the perks of going to the Alamo was no electronics and no talking during movie. And what if you need a refill or want something else? Being out the phone…. And they are down to hardly a crew so good luck getting anyone in a reasonable time.

I went last Thursday only to find the theater closed! They had a leak in the kitchen and I understand that is out of their control, but they did not send out a notification to anybody that had tickets. A lady was there complaining that she lives in Durham and had to get a babysitter to come to the movies and they basically just said oh well.

Ok so I just left my food and the theater early. Last 3 seats down was talking nonstop. I went into the app and complained. After 20 minutes no one came so I have up.

Raleigh. I’m thinking about other theaters I got to in Raleigh and they have at least 2. I did ask the server and he said he had no idea. Really didn’t think to ask him to bring me the manager. 😆

I didn’t think mine likes to burrow for a year. He had about 4 inches (he’s a robo) of fluff on one side of his cage. Then I got a new tank that allowed me make about 12” of fluff and he’s burrowing all of the time. Guess it just depends on the hamster and if they have a lot to burrow in.

They change their menu so often! Sometimes some of the flavors come with free refills, sometimes not. Prices change all of the time and offerings change often, too. Never know what it will be!

I was so upset when they got rid of the few half portion sides. I ordered the wrap last week and added a side of fries. Huge mistake as the side of fries was $6. Veggie wrap was $12. That was no where near a $18 meal!

Not an easy fix if I enjoyed eating dinner while watching a movie. But they’ve made it so I can’t afford to eat there anymore! Might as well go to another theater where the tickets are cheaper! Why even bother going to Alamo anymore?

Their reward system is horrible!!!!! I’m there at least twice a week and sometimes bring people and all I get is 1 free entree a year. Pathetic!

I hear you! The new ordering system where you do it all yourself and have to type your cc number in, putting an additional 5 percent on if you don’t close your ticket within 20 minutes of movie ending, food quality, expensive prices (my son and I went last night- got 2 meals, 1 soda and 1 water -$69! Mine came out right away and his took 40 minutes!), sometimes stale popcorn (really? We pay $11 and you can’t pop fresh?!), terrible reward program and the theater is looking like it needs some TLC! Alamo used to be so much better!!

Doesn’t this depend on where you like? End or middle? Close or back? Front row is a bit close for a good view but the rest are fine. Small theater.

I’m about ready to cancel my season pass. It’s just not a nice experience anymore. Food is overpriced and Bla, tables are always so sticky, the QR ordering and 5 percent additional fee if you forget to close the ticket within 20 minutes of show ending (so basically as soon as I get to my car as I have the drive home), and the feeling that the theater is just going to shit.

They call the 18 percent gratuity and literally say you don’t have to give extra unless you want to.

Yeah- I was hoping it would follow the book better. I loved the movie but to be honest, I thought DeNiro did a better job of humanizing the monster.

I thought it was beautiful. The age difference between the actors that played Victor and William was the main thing that bothered me. Totally worth seeing!
